I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place so please don't yell if I am :)

I get a call from my PM doctor's secretary the other day saying "As of February 9th Dr. xxx is no longer allowed to write scripts for scheduled drugs. You have an appointment on the 1st would you still like to come in and talk with him, he is currently trying to find another doctor to help him through this". After some researching I found that he was raided by the FBI, IOG, Medicare Fraud and DEA. What does this mean? I mean can write certain prescriptions? Like low dosage pain medications? Has this happened to anyone before? I mean as far as I know he's always done things by the book w/me. Urine test with checking your levels of your prescriptions, required MRI's, etc. I'm currently on 60 15 mg oxycodone and 120 Norco 10's. I go tomorrow but I'm wondering if he will be able to give me anything or am I going to get stuck with Tramadol?

Anyone know what the rules are if they are stripped of writing scheduled drugs? Again, sorry if I'm doing this wrong :D

Any experience in a doctor being raided? I mean if he isn't shut down is that a good thing? lol any info would be appreciated if anyone knows anything about this

Hi, we don't offer legal advice or allow legal discussion on Bluelight.

If he can't write Rx's for scheduled drugs, look up the drug scheduling list; he can't write an Rx for what you'll see.

Also - why would you be happy if he isn't shut down? That's a bit suspicious...

Closed. PM me with any queries.
