Grrrrr fuck DEMF I can't believe I slept through this show in my hometown to go to that sesspool of a city...Argh! :X

potd was cool for the 35 minutes i wasnt vomiting... dj dan sounded like every fuckin chicago house set i have heard in the last 6months... is la just that behind or what

I had a great time BUT there is ONE thing I really need to bitch and complain about...... the fucking price of a SMALL bottle of water and then on top of that they don't give you the cap to the bottle. That's a big fuck you to the bar owner! I sure as hell hope it wasn't the promoter who suggested that. I'm someone one who dances the whole night. (sober thanks you very much) At least 3-4 hours straight. Takes me only minutes to go through a regular size bottle of water but a SMALL one?? Come on now.... that's just some SHADY BULLSHIT!

yeah i was shitty with the water thing too, i could kill one of those in a gulp :p i as well played sober all night and had a damn good time! POTD tore it up just as expected as well as the others.

Another thing you guys should try out is changing your stupid door policy. standing outside in the rain, then getting to the front of the line and made to wait another 10 minutes so some scantily clad hos could come inside along with their 15 friends, then to make it inside and realize i was in the wrong line because the door man obvisouly didnt have a clue wtf was going on.

oh well, once inside, the music was dope and thats the only reason i came back. the crowd was a *bit* nicer than than the last time, but thats becasue there werent as many people.
 
Thank you so much to everyone for perhaps the best time of my life!!! I have never danced so much in my life!!! All of my clothes and my hair were drenched, and it was lovely! The energy in that club was incredible and I cannot wait for my next event. Everyone there was just beautiful! My friends were invited to POTD hotel room for an afterparty... I don't know why we didn't go! We had a looong drive ahead of us back to Indiana... Thanks so much to the absolutely brilliant DJs for rocking the hottest sets I've seen! I brought a jaded ex-raver who's been out of the scene for years who ended up telling me that this is the way the scene used to be before he decided to get out. He came up to me in the middle of the rave after giving some amazing light shows to sweet raver kids, gave me a hug and said "Thanks for bringing me to a rave. I needed it."
 
IF any of you remember how doughboy used to throw down the clockworks back in 99-00, this is whaat it was like. The joint was packed up until the end. POTD even went to 430 to show luv.

Julius Papp - downright tight. Some deep house and beautiful blended mixes. I mean you needed to listen to his whole set becasue he took you somewhere. PErfect 10 for this guy.

DJ Dan - the fav DJ. Opening up with The Bomb to raise the crowd. I heard 3 mixes going on at one time with him. Amazing. The best thing about his sets is that they are always different, always. And always new tracks as well. Ive seen him 4 times, this was his best.

POTD - NO words to explain it here. Opened up with Ludacris of all tracks. DnB was so intense and non-scripted. Getting the crowd involved was no prob as they rocked it til 430.

The best part about all thes guys is they looked to be having fun with the crowd, and they fed off that. What a great show, and for only $10 (if ya go them early).

Too bad for homeboy up top showing no luv for Dan, I guess he needed Dan to shit a piece of gold for him to be impressed.
 
no... i dont hate dan... dan getting bad 4k or what ever rediculous some he got paid for a set that was 6 months old out of chicago when he is from la... fuck a bunch of that... a cd my boy paul anthony cut 7 months ago had almost every track he played... maybe if he played some new shit... i wouldng complain... thats just what i expect from some o ne in that league... you simpletons can go on worshipin all the bs you dont understand all you want... just dont expect me to
