Scotty Static & Myself were sitting at the hotel a little before 5am getting ready to head back for our after hours set when I got a text to my phone saying simply "no afterparty." Fuck it I guess.

This is what I posted on Ravetrash to save myself typing it over again:
I estimate 200-250 throughout the entire night. O.K. event.
I dug the theater main stage. I was actually surprised how nice the set up was. Huge projection screen above the decks with a camera on the artist.
But...
that was the coldest fucking venue ever.
I kept asking Timmy if the venue charged extra for heat.
Overall, after having played the opera house 3 or 4 times prior to this event, it was like being at a different venue this time. Both rooms with sound as well as some hallways and the balcony area were all areas I've never seen before this event. Thought I would mention that as I'm not sure how often that area of the venue had been used for shows.
The downstairs room was okay too. That was probably the warmest place in the building. Although it probably didn't matter much because there was rarely times that it even felt like anyone in the building gave a fuck about the music. It was more of a socializing type show than a "dance" event. There was a steady group of about 30 people for each stage that were there for the right reasons (so I will give those people credit-you know who you are).
That's about it. It seemed like just about everyone that was on the bill was there that I noticed other than Ufo. I didn't see Starstready as someone else was playing his slot. I didn't see Fixx either, but the cat that played Starsteady's slot was clearly working with Fixx (he handed out mixes of him and Fixx) so I'm going to assume they came down together. I left at around 1:30 with plans to come back for the afterhours but that didn't happen.
It was one of those events that when you leave you're like thanks for the batting practice...if you know what I mean.

This happened at the last event. There was no mixer in the second room. I got there half an hour before my set and no one could tell me what was going on. I left.- Status
