Hello, Bluelight!
Please forgive me my English if it's broken.

I'm a girl, 103 lbs. I have two questions.

The first question.

I'm currently taking ofloxacin 400 mg a day (twice by 200 mg) which my doctor subscribed, and there could occur a situation, when I will take some d-amphetamine (it's actually mix of d- and l- with d- in most part of it).
If I'll take it, the dose could be like 50-100 mg of amph. And I may re-dose once or twice.

I found this info on forum about mostly no interactions with ciprofloxacin: http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/28307-Guide-to-Antibiotics-and-MDMA?highlight=ofloxacin
I have not got knowledge to understand how much ciprofloxacin differs from ofloxacin, which I take.

I'm also currently taking mineral complex, which my doctor subscribed, and as she said, and regarding on ofloxacin instruction, I should take minerals 4-6 hrs before ofloxacin or 2-4 hrs after ofloxacin.
Am I right thinking that, regarding on half-life of amphetamines equal about 12 hrs, it should be totally safe to take it 2-4 hrs after ofloxacin and take the next dose of ofloxacin after 20 hrs after amphetamines?
Is it safe if I'll take ofloxacin when I'm still on amphetamines?

The second question.

I've read that taking B-group vitamines with serotoninergetic drugs could possibly lead to harm and even death. I've also read that amphetamines (meth at least) have some serotoninergetic effects (not as much as dopaminergetic). So should I not take that minerals same day with amphetamines?

Anyone who have such kind of knowledge about it, please help me. Thanks.

Since nobody here has attempted to respond, I'm gonna send this over to
Neuroscience and Pharmacology Discussion and see if those guys can give you an answer, as it's more of "their thing".;)

OD---> N&PD

I've read that taking B-group vitamines with serotoninergetic drugs could possibly lead to harm and even death.

That's very unlikely. B vitamins are pretty much totally safe (well, niacin can make you flushed).

Amphetamine shouldn't have any interactions with ciprofloxacin, but just be sure to not stress yourself too much if you are recovering from an infection or injury.

Keep taking your vitamins, minerals, and antibiotics as normal if you take amphetamine.

Vitamins & minerals would seem to always be a good thing, to say to least, to anyone whom consumes, well, really, any drug.

Stay healthy all :)

In concern of Ofloxacin and Amphetamine you can read this to help yourself feel better http://www.ehealthme.com/drug-interactions/amphetamine-sulfate-and-ofloxacin

After doing research on B6 Vitamins I found no significant reason to be concerned of serotongeric drugs from source so I would only conclude it would be a safe decision.

However when making such decisions it always best to consult a licensed doctor with your concerns with safely being the main benefit.
