Bluelight AU used to be filled with those who loved MDMA. Since it turned to shit, a lot of those folk left. Now there are some opiate lovers here which MDMA lovers think of as "junkies" (in a derogatory fashion).
That's just been my observation from when I first started posting on here without a real habit of any kind. Oh how things change, and how they stay the same.
One thing I want to add, I really dislike the fact that some drug users look down upon other drug users because they prefer different drugs to the drugs which they prefer. But that's a whole 'nother topic. Of course, the people who use different drugs would no doubt have different personalities and may not get along in life, but that's no reason to berate them or treat them as lesser individuals. I used to BE one of those people who now treat users of opiate, especially heroin, with disdain.
I think that Bluelight, if not anywhere else should be a shining light, an example that people can get along, even if they prefer different drugs, have completely different lifestyles and most likely different philosophical, ideological and political ideologies.
This is a forum where all drug users come together, it seems to me that when I first visited as a lurker, most were pill heads. I started posting and they were mostly gone and the forum pretty much dead. I like opiates, they are my life. If I'd posted, instead of lurked way back when, I would not have fit in and probably would have been virtually lynched. Even though I enjoyed stimulants at the time. I've never enjoyed MDMA though, it was too intense, I had terrible side effects from it and it just didn't suit me. Just like pot doesn't.
Anyway. Can't we all just get along? I think everyone on this forum, in a roundabout way (with the exception of pigs, doctors and snitches) want a similar thing.
I've only had alcohol, which is nothing abnormal, so I can't even blame this post on anything else. I just started typing, my fingers took over and my brain went on a Homer vacation. Wee heh hee heee he Woo wheeee.
