Hello all,
I'm a new member, but have been reading posts in this forum for some time.
First off let me give a brief background before asking my question. I am 5'7" and 240lb. I am not a drug user. I do smoke (cigs) and drink alcohol about 3x a week. However, if I go to the Dr. and am prescribed a narcotic (RARE this happens) I might have a lil extra to get a nice feeling. That is the extent of my "drug use."
Now then, I recently had to get stiches and was prescribed Norco (5mg). I took ONE the first night and immediately had an amazing euphoric feeling. I did not need the pills for pain the next few days so I didn't take them. I decided to take the pills again and this time took 2 (10mg) I felt nothing but nausea. No good feeling..just sick. I tried them again 2 more times (with at least 3 days in between) taking between 10-15 mg. I still felt nothing, not as naseaus as the 2nd time, but definitely no change in mood or overall feeling.
Why is it that first night I felt fantastic on 5mg of Norco and then couldn't feel a thing on 10-15mg after that? I definitely don't have a tolerance. I wasn't taking them daily and I was not taking anything else with them.
It has me a little baffled. Any ideas?
