I am quite an occasional cocaine user (semi binge every few months). I got 2 gs between 4 ppl 2 days ago, and I'm feeling (as is often the case for me after coke) insecure and depressed, as I shared some personal things when I was high and talkative (and I feel somewhat of a tool). Anything that you guys can think of that will alleviate this I have access to codeine, hydroxyzine, alcohol, valium and midazolam. ? I'm thinking of doing a CWE on some 20/500 mg codeine pills as I'm a regular codeine user.

What will alleviate it is meeting up with your friends sober and having a laugh about it (if that's possible, depends what your personal things were. If you told them how you are a serial killer then I can see your quandry).

Well.. it's just a stim comedown, as I'm sure you are aware, and really you've just got to ride it out - you will be feeling a lot better in a few days I am sure! If it's happening too often it can exacerbate depression more long-term, but every few months doesn't sound too bad. However as I'm sure you know, a big binge = big comedown.. sometimes it gets to the point where it really isn't worth it..

Sharing personal stuff when high is pretty common, don't feel silly, we've all done it! If you are genuinely worried about it could you have a chat with the people involved, clear the air or explain you shared more than you usually would and you feel a little uncomfortable? Might help :) edit: beaten to it knockando! :)

In terms of self-medicating to alleviate the comedown.. codeine will definitely help you to feel a bit better for a while altho when it wears off you might feel worse again. Alcohol for me doesn't really help a bad comedown, but it does for some - go steady though. Benzos are my comedown-fix of choice but again, go steady.

Really, the things that I find help the most are really taking care of my body - eating well, getting plenty of rest, maybe some gentle exercise, popping a few vitamins and generally looking after myself. Come downs suck but you should be feeling a lot better soon :)

Good luck, be nice to yourself and don't go overboard self-medicating :) <3

I'm going to shift this across to Drug Culture as I think it might be better there as I don't think the answer to your question is to do more drugs if this is happening regularly.

Thanks for the input. Yeah gotta weigh up the pro's and con's of a drug like cocaine as it takes me days to recover. The personal things I spilled were not too serious just detrimental to my ego and image. I'm sure in a week I'll laugh about it. Think it will be wisest to stick with my consistently calming companion codeine.

Since I think your question has been sufficiently answered, I'm going to go ahead and close this.

Don't hesitate to PM me if you've questions about this :)
