Opioids Obtaining Tylenol with codeine

One more thing, out of interest in covering this subject completely: there is actually one other option for getting an OTC codeine product in Canada. You can get a drug called Mersyndol (or something like that anyway) that also has APAP and codeine, but instead of caffeine it has an antihistamine (chlorpheniramine I think). This is better in the sense that you don't have a stimulant harshing your buzz, and not only that but antihistamines actually potentiate opiates rather than antagonize their effects. On the other hand, it would be far more unpleasant to make a CWE with this much antihistamine in it rather than caffeine. The caffeine is not pleasant, but there could be enough of the sedative in there to give you a very bad trip, as it may be enough to become a deliriant which is very rarely any fun.

The best way to use these IMO - especially if you have a very low opiate tolerance - is to simply take several of them normally, but not too many of course. If your tolerance is really that low, you should feel the codeine slightly and have a nice and sedating sleeping pill on top of that with no stimlant whatsoever. You also don't have to go to the trouble of a CWE. Another thing you can do if you really find you need to have codeine - many walk-in clinics will NOT prescribe narcotics - particularly if they don't know you. However, they often will prescribe Tylenol 3 since it doesn't require a special prescription to do so and are not covered under the same drug scheduling laws. If the doctor is willing to do this, tell him or her that you're very sensitive to caffeine, and your pain keeps you up at night anyways. They will likely then prescribe you a drug called Emtec, which is the same as T3 (300 mg APAP, 30 mg codeine) but without the caffeine. NOW that's a different story, because you can easily CWE these and be left with nothing but codeine, so it is possible to get a nice strong codeine high with nothing to detract from it.

Gotcha, well...thanks for the help, it was very illuminating.

No problem. If you ever have any questions you can PM me and I would be happy to help :) Just don't do anything potentially dangerous or damaging without researching it on here first. You'll find that the people here and especially the mods and admins are very professional and happy to answer your questions. After all, bluelight is first and foremost a harm reduction site.

Huh? This is an OTC legal pharmaceutical he's asking about; how is that in any way sourcing?
