Obtaining pure oxycodone from oxynorm (large scale)

By large I mean less than 1000 pills. Not really an ADD question nut a search in OD though up nothing. It must pe pretty easy.

You mean Oxynorm? Post the ingredients of the capsules and someone will probably be able to help you. This is (probably) not ADD material though.

Given the collection of binders, there won't be any easy kitchen-chemistry method for extraction.

Changed thread title, but for easy kitchen tech ummm...
1)Dissolve in hot water
2)Run through micron filter to remove most of the cellulose
3)That's probably as close to pure you can get with a really simple extraction... stick it in ur pooper?

But in all seriousness you probably wont get pure oxycodone without resorting to a A/B extraction and using rather specialized equipment, but I'm a pharmacologist not a chemist.
Hopefully you're not IV'ing it because you'll run into problems with the above tech.

Acid base extraction is fine, i've done these before. I assume sodium hydroxide is going to be strong enough to displace the hydrochloride even though it has a high afinnity. WHat solvents would be best bearing the chemical in mind?I haven't done any clandendestine chemisrty for a long time but I I only do it for peronal quality of prouct.

Removing the binder just by continuously decreasing the size of a ffiltert (normal then micron) filler is probably all that's needed to obtain a clear solution with all the goodies( if you re wash the binder).. Id have previously cooked then oxynorms in well mixed suspension of the msj powder and lots of vit c. It takes a lot of citirc to sperate the oxy effectively from the binder. Only a little ABOVE BLOOD Temp on the heat though.

This would go through the filtration process. Would I then need to was the soulution brfore recrystalline in the frezzer and filtering?

I don't think that even this would yield reasonably pure oxycodone, due to a large set of binders with diverse chemical properties.

Then again, people do extract dxm from Sucrets lozenges.

True, I guess it really depends on what OP wants to use it for. For simply minimizing pill bulk my tech would work, but if he wants to do IV then its a bit of a different story.
I was kind of serious about the pooper part lol

I'm pretty sure that the OP wants to inject (or vaporize...I don't know how oxycodone hcl's boiling point compares to its flashpoint). If he were just administering the compound rectally, an unfiltered water solution would be fine.

It's for IV. If it was for rectal then I would just be mixing with water and putting the whole lot up there in an oral syringe. Doesn't have to be completely pure, just a safer option than street heroin.
