I appreciate the sentiment but that is bullshit. They can have a monopoly on drugs because they can offer them at cheaper prices even with tax. Weed cost pennies to grow. I think the government can make it a tad cheaper and safer. Even if they do tax the dog shit out of it (believe you me they will).

And yes Obama is too busy with bullshit like cap and trade when he should be focusing on this. Prisons are literally over packed with minorities and Obama doesn't give two shits about any of them. Most of them are felons that can't vote so of course he's not going to stick up for them. Politically he stands little to gain and Obama is a politician don't forget.

MArlboro already has the patent on "marijuana cigarrettes." If weed was legalized nation wide they would have a field day with the profits.
 
that article is moronic. Correlation and causation are not the same! Actually, this article gives me hope. If anti-cannabis people are this fucking dumb, they have no chance.
