O-2545 hydrochloride - Water Soluble Cannabinoid

Hey I just ran into this synthetic cannabinoid in my research. I was wondering since it's a water soluble Cannabinoid if it would get absorbed intra-nasally through insulation or any good for IV or IM administration? Has anyone tried it?

Cannabinoid agonists are typically highly lipophilic compounds that require solubilization with either a surfactant agent or adherence to a water miscible substance such as albumin, Tween 80, or Emulphor. O-2545 is a potent water-soluble agonist of central cannabinoid (CB1) and peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptors with Ki values of 1.5 and 0.32 nM, respectively.1 When dissolved in saline, O-2545 was highly efficacious in murine behavioral models when administered either intravenously or intracerebroventricularly.1

Despite it being water soluble, I highly doubt it would be absorbed via "insulation", as you put it...perhaps through insufflation though

Seriously though, yea man, if its water soluble, there's no reason it wouldnt be absorbed through any mucous membrane. Same goes for IM/IV, though there might be some other problems with these ROA's.
Additionally, I really wouldnt see the point of IM'ing or Iv'ing any cannabanoid. They dont provide any sort of rush or surge that one usually looks for when shooting something.

So whats the problem, you cant stand the 10 second wait between the time you take a bong hit, and the time you are high?

I don't understand why people would want to feel a cannabinoid buzz quicker than they do with conventional ways. There is no real "rush" with cannabinoids. The only thing one would probably get from this is vomiting. Enjoy.

Hey, adding it to some blow will probably set you in for some wild times. Are there any other advantages between a oil and water soluble cannabanoid, Iike duration.. potency.. duration.. ect.??

i would imagine it is excreted form the body more quickly, im not sure what the real significance of having cannabinoids in ones fat cells is - obviously they has no psychoactive effect after the drug has cleared the CNS

Water soluble cannabinoids sound like they would be in and out and over too quick.

proper water soluble cannabinoids not a water soluble prodrug, can produce classic withdrawal syndrome because unlike THC which depots in fat and tapers itself, a water soluble agonist goes from an effective dose to nothing very quickly. Even with some of the more water soluble naphthoylindole substances show this effect.

Doesn't snorting stuff generally cause it to cross the BBB more slowly than smoking it? I would have thought insufflation would give a gentler, smoother experience if anything.
