so at my methadone clinic they had some photos of this medication called nutridone and i guess it is suppose to help with the side effects of the methadone, they also had something called "withdraw" and you take it while tapering off methadone and supposedly it makes it so you feel zero symptoms, so i guess my question is.... has anyone ever tired these vitamins and if so how did they work!!!? if anyone has taken the one for the withdraw:Ds! how was that one?!?! did it work... so there wasn't pain!?!?

I regret to inform you that while this supplement may help some symptoms a little tiny bit, you're better off just buying the supplements yourself. It is a money game just like the clinic you found it in. It will be more effective and probably cheaper in the long run to get the stuff from a health food store.

There is no such thing as a symptom free detox.

I am on day 14 of methadone withdrawal myself. Or what should still be methadone w/d according to all the stories on the net, right?

I did a slow taper over the course of 11 months down to 4mg from a short stay at 120mg. It made me emotionless and dumb. Never again. Anyways, maybe it's the luck of the irish, I don't know, but I didn't feel hardly any withdrawal effects. A little RLS, and some anxiety from time to time. Marijuana and LOW-dose loperamide has been effective. The loperamide does tone down my symptoms quite a bit. Maybe it can be attributed from my stay under 10mg on methadone for about a month. I can't speak for people who've had monumental doses of H or Methadone for 30 years. But me, I've even been sleeping about 4 - 6 hours a night. You just have to stay calm. Practice meditation. Self-talk. Tell yourself it's going to be okay. (It is) The only thing that will allow you to have "zero symptoms" is your mind. You have to be ready to quit and you have to make that change in behavior to stop the constant need to seek drugs. All or nothing dude. My habit was pretty light, roughly 160 mg oxy a day for about 2 years at the end. 6 years all together. I can't speak for some of these people that seem to WANT to cold turkey 220 mg and all that, that is idiotic. I can imagine that probably IS hell! Remember the horror stories you read are just that: Scary stories. If you do a proper taper and prepare yourself to get off that stuff you will be surprised at your results.

Sorry for the rant, kind of all over the place.

Good luck!

I'd like to meet someone who stopped a 220mg/day habit cold turkey. I feel cravings after a week of slamming just 40mg/day.

Just Google methadone withdrawal and read sites like topix or drugs-forum. They're everywhere!

I CT'd 120mg/day and only lasted 10 days in horrible w/d's till i ended up on bupe for 4 years and just CT'd that and it was the easiest w/d i have ever done and was completely over in a week, i was on 2mg/day.. now im w/ding from kpins and this shit sucks.

hmm ive w/d from heroin, suboxone, and subutex. the suboxone and subutex was simple the h was hell.
ive gone like a day without my methadone and was sicker than hell way worse than h. ive read a lot about the nutradone and the withdrawl medication and it seems to help a ton!!! theres blogs about it and about people doing it and everything ive read has been good news i think im going to try it out!!!! ive shopped around and the health stores dont have the high mg-age of vitamins that these supplements have there like 30000 mg of different vitamins "totally exaggerating" but its like a huge insane mg.
