Kicking back in N.M. "Everything all the time" pretty much describes my formative years. I still like the idea of drugs but quit everything in 75, I don't even drink. But have for two 5 year periods since I stopped recreational drugs. I formed all my opinions about life while touring in a rock band and on LSD so I'm not a republiban member. `Problem w/drugs only show's up with abuse and addiction. And addiction is only a problem if you are a low life. There are millions of doctors/executives world wide, addicted to the best drugs available. No one knows cuz they don't get caught steeling car radios to get high.

I was lucky I didn't care for smack or downers, wasn't that big a coke fan but we use to get it an oz at a time, our manager knew Sinatra's coke dealer. Back then we had front money from record deals and life was very good.

I think all drugs should be legalized/decriminalized. But the raptors that own the prison biddniss have more money for golf jobs and blow junkets hmmmmm hope you can say that here…. anyway they buy congressmen and senators at the state level golf jobs and blow junkets to be sure they know how much we need to keep the MANUFACTURED criminal element under a rock somewhere.

I read in Discover, a pseudo science fluff rag that we are approaching 30 years of liberal ideas dominating our culture. O M G!! the last time that happened we ended segregation [well sort of]…enacted clean air and water laws and took steps to protect wild place and critters.

This all based on a meta analysis of statistical data on the ratio of men to women in a given population. It don't recall which is which but the coming thirty year period will hopefully be one where we can take a rational look at our drug laws. Oh yea and the one that sez collections of raptors are people too and can buy all the government they can afford.

I'm renewing my interest in taking a pro active roll in how I feel each day. Nootropics is where that has led me so far. I want to try some of the triply substances again. I also want to learn more about chemistry and extraction methods. But only one's that don't leave residues. Steam or alcohol methods. My primary interest is ephedra sinica.

Alas this is what it's come to no more meth or any of the really hard to kick ones. I discovered ephedrine in a convenience store driving back east one time. That stuff sure was convenient for staying awake. So now that the drug raptors have decided we can't have that either I'll make my own. So I hope to get to meet some of you and learn some more about what's been going on in the drug world since 75. No Country For Old Men probably about sums it up for what' happening in a lot of places some of them just 2 hours away.

Welcome to Bl. You sound like you got lots of wild stories, and you were in a rock band? who are you? %)

Hiya Ron45,

Welcome to Bluelight.

Hope this doesn't come off as patronising or offensive but well done in quitting the drugs. As others have already said, looks like you have some interesting stories to tell.

Please feel free to ask any questions re the site n look at the stickies as the have useful info like about the adoption programme etc.
Or you can PM the BL ambassadors / moderators if you need any further help with anything.

All the best,
Evey
