today my after smoking my arm felt very numb and this lasted about 4 hrs. it hurt to pick up anything or even hold my arm up. has this ever happened to anyone else? should i be worried
 
crack! opiates much better,at least u will get shut done-work-friends-family,that is if you are not over doing it!crack almost tore my life to shreds!the high isnt long enough or worth it!opiates are very addictive but use them with control or pay the price!!!!!!!!!
 
You definitely need to let us know what the fuck you were smoking. There are like a hundred different things it could be. So provide more information for a good answer...
 
damn im sorry i was high while written- pot... not crack or anything else crazy- pot..!!!!! and it made my arm numb as hell for a while??? isnt that weird- it just started happening
 
which arm? If you have an underlying heart problem it could have been a minor stroke. pot increases your heart rate , an old gf had this happen to her , the entire left half of her body went numb.
 
damn thats what i was worried about my family does have a history for heart problems. maybe it is a serious problem?
 
Hiya.
Many heart attacks begin with loss of feeling and motor control in the left arm. It is also possible to have temporary numbness due to cardiac stress without a full-on heart attack. Was it your left arm that was affected? If it was your right arm I would rule out a heart problem.

it is serious , but it doesn't mean your gonna drop dead at any moment , but it would be smart to avoid stimulants and drugs that speed up your heart.
Shit, if you still wanna smoke , just smoke a little and don't get schwacked , its not the best advice , but what the hell....
Just see the doctor and find out if you do have a problem before you draw any conclusions.
 
and yes it was my left arm! and i dont think ill stop smoking... or only smoke a little- that doesnt appeal to me. i guess to the doctors i go- thank you
 
This is not normal. Go to your doctor, and be sure to inform him of your weed smoking -- he won't be abe to make a proper diagnosis otherwise. I would say it was your first time trying the stuff and you hated it, or something along those lines...
 
heeheehee they cant like tip the police off bc my house has alot of "traffic" if you know what i mean.

There's so many uniformed/lazy/incompetent doctors who instead of taking the time to make a proper diagnoses will immediatey blame whatever problem you are having on your drug use. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the advice givin. It's just a sad fact.
Btw, a relatively rare symptom of a panic attack is exactly what you described: numbness in one arm. With some people it can even escalate to near paralysis. Of course it wears off when the panic attack subsides. AND panic attacks as a result of pot smoking are quite common especially in chronic users.

I feel you... I had the right side of my face and arm go numb Saturday and man it freaked me out. It took me until today to shake off the feeling I had a stroke.
The way I see it... you're doing drugs... and sometimes you get a little more then you bargained for. If you go to the doctor and tell him your arm went numb smoking weed he is going to tell you to stop smoking weed and hand you a NA pamphlet and send you home with some "hotline" numbers. Even if they order some test and there is something wrong... he is *still* going to tell you to stop smoking weed oh, and if you're a minor, they will tell your parents you've been smoking weed.
So, I would suggest going to the dr. and explaining your arm went numb... leave out the weed. If you have a heart condition it's going to show up in tests regardless if you admit to smoking or not. If nothing shows up... consider the fact maybe you just oversmoked a little and sometimes people have strange shit happen to them like their arm going numb when they are too high. I've seen weed completely freak people out. Stranger shit has happened.
