Numbing and coke

I have been doing coke for awhile and usually get varying degrees of numbness in the nasal passage and mouth. Is the numbing from the coke or from things its cut with? Is this a reliable way to tell if you have decent stuff or not? I ask cause my last batch has very little numbing.

Cocaine will cause numbing. It was, and still is, used in medicine for this reason. Lidocaine and Novocaine were developed after cocaine as replacements that do not cross the blood brain barrier very well (thus no recreational value). Some clever kids like to cut cocaine with lidocaine or novocaine so that stupid people will feel as if they are getting a superior product (because of the numbing). If you don’t get any numbing effect, it ain’t coke because it does that, but just because it does numb you up it doesn’t mean it is all that pure either.

This weekend I purchased an 1/8th and a half. I tasted the coke before I bought it and it didn't really numb me at all. But the smelly puerto-rican I bought it from insisted it was some fabulous cocaine. So he laid me out a line and I gladly snorted it...it didn't numb me very much, but it did just a tad.
OMG it was some fucking intense coke! Best I have ever had. I actually was getting real rushes from every line I hit. So thanks alot Chico! I'll be going through you from now on. Fuck you jon-jon your shit sucks!
