numb arm and leg after codeine dose

Hello folks im new to here, at least as a active poster i wan to tell you about something wierd that lately happend to me. One day after a 5 hour tattoo session on some tramadol i was enjoying a codeine promethazine nod on the dose iv been for 3 years. Im an irregularuser though.. Suddenly my arm and leg of the right side became numb, not in away like one is used to.. I still had feelings in both extremeties but they felt very weak and numb (couldntwalk on the right leg) i was freakin out thinkin i had a heartattack near to call the ambulance but i didnt for some reason... After some hours where the symptoms went off and came back in irregular time intervals they finally went of completely... The dose was as i remeberright 300 mg codeine and 25 mg prometha.... Anyone here ever had similar shit happenor knows what it could be?? Ive ran some other codeine intakes since then with lil smaller dosage and it didnt happen anymore, although i always fear thisto happen again since then... Could it also have been due to the tattoo (right arm too) or from the tramadol which in my knowledge known could cause numbness?(although never experienced it on trama neither and the dose that day wose rather considered low) thanks for all inputs!

It does say it is a serious side affects, but I imagine they are on about more of a clinical dose than a recreational... Google it, there is quite a bit on the matter. With others who have experienced the same.

As a warning to others i wanna tell y'all that im sure by now, that all this was due to a high dose of guaifensenin in my cough syrup... This is generally known to cause muscle rigidity in TOXIC doses - i had bout 3 gramm - be sure to extract that stuff, symptoms werent fun at all! Stay safe!
