Hi,

I've been reading up on methadone and got directed here. This is the most exciting site I've ever seen! Can't wait to talk to yall more.

Hey there Durty! Welcome :). We have an Other Drugs Directory containing a large section dedicated to methadone. For continued support with MMT The Dark Side is a place that offers a lot of support and guidance for those dealing with addiction.

Besides that if you're looking for somewhere to start chatting we have a NMI Social Thread that you can come to get to know a few people.

Well I haven't committed yet. I stopped the really bad ones by myself. Just having trouble with my cozy opiates lol. Thank you for the support though. :)

Opiates are quite cozy, dude~ Feel free to shoot me a PM... you'll fit right in here I think! Oh yeah, welcome to Bluelight, of course.

hi there, i am new myself, and wanted to introduce myself. re; opiates
my drug of choice! re;methadone...I have known a lot of people (in life, not online) who got just as sprung on methadone as they were on dilaudids or heroin. I have only tried it, so i don't know. I never got it from a clinic. I do know one of those big methadone pills (got on the street)broken into 4 pieces could get me thru 4 days of withdrawal . I have done suboxone-under a doctors care, for a couple of years i was on it. And coming off of that was not easy psychologically for me. but at least i did not have all the physical symptoms. I am not on suboxone now, as there is no doctor in my town available to prescribe at this time. apparently each prescribing doc can only see a certain number of patients. both docs i used to see got busted for seeing to many patients . I wondered why they only took cash and no insurance! anyway depending on your level of addiction, suboxone is a really helpful drug. What i noticed is that over time LESS IS MORE...now what drug can you say that about?
So if you start at 16 mg, over time 8 mg will have the same effect as 16. there is no point in taking more because it won't get you "high"
it just takes the craving away, it really takes the craving away. And gives you energy. To me it should be prescribed as an antidepressant for opiate addicts. I bet in a few more years it will be widely available.
Anyway .... the drug comes in a film that dissolves under your tongue. When my doctor got busted I had 3 or 4 strips (8mg ea) left.
I dosed myself from 4mg, to 3, to 2 to 1. Then with that last strip I got some little scissors, and a magnifier. I cut the strip I had left into 12 pieces. they did not come out even so i arranged them largest to smallest. took the biggest piece on day 1 and the smallest piece on day 12. and that is all she wrote. i felt depressed...but not sick. I am still on zoloft for depression, but I was on antidepressant before i ever used opiates or suboxone.
I would look into suboxone as well as methadone. But hey, I am no doctor, I am just another opiate lover. I like vicodin, oxys if I can find them and i have snorted heroin, a bag a day. I have not IVed. Welcome to Bluelight!

A good friend of mine used opiates, coke, H, whatever he could get and IV'd it and methadone according to him, saved his life. I've just been thinking about it for financial reasons mainly. I'm a dad now and popping pain pills all day everyday just doesn't seem right anymore. Also, it's a huge financial burden at $50-65/day. The energy is why I took hydrocodone to begin with so if methadone/suboxone gives u that and takes away the shakes, then I'll be happy:) thank you to everyone that's posted.
