I have heard rumors that if you mainline nubane, your heart will stop and you will die. I was just wanting to know if this is true or not.

At a certain amount (LD50) Nubane (and other strong CNS depressants, opiates or not) will cause respiratory failure and/or cardiac arrest.
Saying that "IVng ANY amount of Nubane will cause instant death!" is a misnomer.
However, I tend to agree with the other two posters.
The high/addiction ratio for Nubane is not worth it. It's not nearly as euphoric as Heroin, Oxy, Morphine etc...but the d/t's are a nightmare.
If you're gonna get hooked on something it may as well be something that feels good.

nubain is not fun, i had it one time in the hospital and the first 15 min of the IV drug experience were pure hell, i felt like i was withdrawing hardcore, after that i had a slight buzz.

yeah a good friend of mine got on it and he was shootin it up...i come from a town that is based on wealth and standard and he and his family were at the top...trust me when he got on nubane, and got caught with it by the 5-0 he became a narch....i have honestly seen first hand how it can turn a classy guy into trash thats in protective custody!!!

A friend of mine of 10 years was a roid freak who WAS completely against recreational drug use. He started using Nubain so he could lift through his muscle pain. He got so addicted in just one month, he now uses a bottle a day. This is so expensive 6 months ago he jacked $1000 from me and I haven't talked to him since. The rumor is now he's selling crack to support his Nubain habit. He's also now a regular in our city's newspaper for domestic violence.

i've been adicted to 'bain to the last year. been shooting IV for the past 10 months. the shit is ALL OVER the west coast bodybuilding world (or underworld).
the shit is addictive as hell, i have to have a shot every hour on the hour. the bain that's being made right now is way underdosed(i know, i bought str8 from Astra Labs, and now Abbott Labs at wholesale and sold it to pay for my own addiction). so much that you don't even get high from it, but your body still craves that shot, even w/o the high. i've shot a full 10cc's IV at one time(using a 10cc rig and a big 21ga needle) and got just the slightest 'relaxing" feeling. that's 200mg!!! a "high" dose for most used to be around 20-30mg at once.

I dont know A LOT about nubain but i do know that its basically half a real opiate, its a kappa agonist and an MU antagonist, the latter is EXACTLY like the shit they give you when you overdose, narcan.
As you have read above in stuffeds post, what happens when you take this after being on normal opiates is like instant withdrawl, hell. It does have that kappa agonist activity but thats nothing compared to the antagonist activity it has, i would venture a guess that anyone, even someone whos never used opiates before and has no dependance, would be seriously withdrawing after using this, think about it this way, you wouldnt want to inject narcan all the time for pain would you? it MAY not affect someone non dependant but then again, i wouldnt let anyone give me a drug that blocks my endorphin receptors because you have natural endorphins that keep you feeling ok and help pain, you block them, your gonna regret it trust me.
As for this shit being any worse than a normal opiate IE sell your house, whatever else, be a narc, all that we've mentioned, the police made that kid be a narc or he would go to jail, the nubain didnt do that lol. (BAHH IM NUBAIN! YOUR GONNA BE A NARC OR ILL PUT YOU IN JAIL! AHAHAHAHA!)
Nubain is chemically similar to the other opiates so my guess is that it shares many pharmacologic attributes the others have, such as being non-toxic and all that, it does have a dosage ceiling i believe. But i dont believe it could actually harm you, i have heard shit about certain opiates such as they make your teeth fall out and all such shit, i dont believe it, but then again, you have codeine which is different from the others in that it has a dosage ceiling, you can be allergic to it, it does cause a lot of unwanted effects and VERY little positive effect, so its a grey area here you just have to watch what you do with any of them.
For the most part nubain is not some kind of unknown terror like its made out here, but it isnt an angel, as i said before it has negative effects by nature and for pain i dont reccomend it at all, i dont know why its used so prevalently in body building, probably because of the legal status, basically you can buy a C5 (nubain, stadol) from a pharmacist with no script if they let you, but that doesnt seem to fit here as i bet it was sold underground by people who obtained a lot and sold it for a mark up or cut it somehow. I would think you would really rather have at LEAST something like hydrocodone or even codeine rather than a mixed agonist/antagonist, but whatever floats your boat.
Also the old saying "something is better than nothing" doesnt apply here as if you are using normal opiates and use this in desperation when you cant get other shit, it will make your condition worse and you are better off taking nothing, trust me.

oh man, i can't believe the NEGATIVE REP BAIN is getting on this thread..
BAIN is very prevalent in the gyms around my area...many of my buddies use it, and i used to take it..i started off about 2 years ago, and ended up taking it for a year and a half...the most(usage per week) i ever got up to was 2 bottles a week..i was getting it pretty cheap and NUBAIn definitely gave me a nice high..when i started it, i had never taken an OPIATE-LIKE drug prior, and i loved the feeling BAIn gave me..it did NOT put me into withdrawal, like someone said above..if BAIN put people into withdrawal, why would so many people be taking it??now, if i had been taking something like OXYCONTIN for a year,THEN i took BAIN, i would fall into withdrawal, but BAIN by itself will give you a nice high, and it is OK at killing PAIN...
it didnt come close to ruining my life, nor has it ruined the lives of ANY of my buddies..i have had 2 buddies go to REHAB over it, and they were up to using a bottle per day, but they were very IMPULSIVE,COMPULSIVE,ADDICTIVE type personality folks..they couldn't handle BAIN and the withdrawals..there lives were NOT ruined by its use though..
as far as stopping your heart, there have been studies to where folks have used up to 7 ML of it, and had very MINOR respiratory depression...
the "sticking point" to where you wont feel the "high" any longer is 1-2 cc's...taking anymore than that is just a waste...

the bad thing about bain is that it tricks you into thinking that if you stopped using it last week/month. then you can stop like that whenever you want.
most can use bain for 2 months and stop whenever they want for as long as they want. but then you go back on, thinking it was easy to quit the 1st time. but when you go over that 2 month mark, you get nothing but nasty withdrawl.
you don't even realize it's opiate withdrawl until you've been addicted for a few months. then you remember all the shit you heard or saw on TV about herion withdrawl, it's all happening TO YOU... EVERYDAY! don't take a shot of bain for a couple hours or worse, if you run out completely, your skin feels tingly and feels like it's crawling; you get tired; you yawn a lot; your nose runs; you feel like vomitting; you can't eat; basicaly, YOU CAN"T FUNCTION! You end up calling everybody you know who uses bain to try to get 25-50iu's (1/4-1/2cc) just to get you through the rest of the day. or you'll just end up doing whatever drug you can find to knock you out for the day/night until you can find the guy you buy it from. whenever i'd "miscalculate" my own supply, and run out before i planned, i'd always use a little 1-4 or G during the day (staying home wasn't an option, as i ran my own business) and shoot 1/4-1/2cc's of Ketaset (ketamine) into my veins just so i could sleep through the night so i could make a run to my wherehouse in mexico at 4Am and be back at work by 10am.

hmm, i NEVER felt like shit from TAKING NUBAIN....you people must respond oddly to this drug...i did feel like shit when i STOPPED taking NUBAIN...

if you want to have a little fun with your bain, you can easily do a little speedball using ephederine (ripped fuel, yellow jackets, ect...) and bain.
take 2-3 ripped fuel caps (not so much that you get sick, just enough to get speedy)
wait for 20mins
drink a couple red bulls
wait 10-20mins for everything to kick in, then shoot 25-50iu's of nubain IV (50iu-100iu's if you have Astra nubain)
not as good or as fast as coke+smack, but it gets the job done.
there's nothing like coming home from a rave at 11am and mainlining a 1cc of bain and sleeping til 5pm and going out and doing it all over again.
