I just realized that I've never been to an AA/NA meeting OUTSIDE of an actual rehabilitation facility. Am I missing out?

And yeah, I would say meetings are different on the outside. On the inside, everyone is just getting clean, so it's almost more depressing I think. Outside, you have so many people with decades of sobriety, it can be inspiring tbh.

But you aren't missing anything if you don't really want to get clean.

Lol yeh your missing out, meetings are a good way to find connects. A huge portion of the people at the meetings are court ordered so quitting is really not in their agenda.

one problematic Thing about 12 steps is that they are supposed to be both voluntary and anonymous, but court mandated attendance makes them neither
