* First i got a question :
How much does the average pill weigh?
Now my estimate is that it weighs about 1.5g
Now if there is say 80mg(0.08g) of MDMA in a pill how can the Marquis reagent react with such a small amount of active material considering there is still about 1.42g of unknown which could well be anything that reacts purple or orange wich could mask the MDMA present????
The actual amounts may vary a bit but in general the component which gives the effects wanted is only a fraction (+- 10%)of the whole pill, how can one say a pill contains, say only speed (turned orange) when it could still have about 100mg of MDMA which was not visible in the reaction because the speed acted as a masking agent.
Ive been thinking about this one, which would really mean no one tester or no tester knows what they are taking ???????
Please enrich me with an explanation quick !!

First off your guess on the weight of a pill is way off. The ones i've weighed (on a tanita digital scale) were about .3 to .4 of a gram - so thats 300 to 400 mg's. so if the dose of mdma is 100 mg's there's about 200 to 300 mg's of pill filler in order for the mdma to be pressed in pill form. I dont think testing such a small amount has any effect on the results because its all a solution (or distributed equally through out the pill).
