novel solution for neuropathy

I have some pain due to neuropathology , and in playing around, I found chlorpheniramine (antihistamine with SNRI effects) and atomoxitine/straterra (ADHD med thats at SNRI) Greatly reduced the pain. Moreso then opioids.

I found it roughly it on par with with pregabalin/lyrica and effexor, but way cheaper and one of them being OTC.

A side note, I find amphetamine very effective too, probably due to a similar action of mono-amine release/re-uptake inhibition?

Has anyone else tried a similar, unorthodox treatment for neurologic pain? If so, share your results. Maybe it will help someone.

As for this, I'm doing a small study into it. I'll post a link when I'm done.

Fibromyalgia, which is arguably a type of neurologic pain had SNRI's as one of the first line treatment options. (the other being alpha 2 delta ligands like as you mentioned, pregabalin.

TCA's, mirtazapine, tiagabine and cylcobenzaprine are listed as second line options.

Adjuntive treatments include stimulants opiates and ghb, just to name the good stuff.

I'm very interested in whatever you'r researching exactly.
