Two women in their 70s charged with selling drugs
(New York-AP) -- Two women in their late 70's have been charged with illegally selling prescription drugs.
Prosecutors say 79-year-old Roza Shusterman and 77-year-old Faina Kodner sold the drugs and other paraphernalia to customers at their apartments. They live in the same building in Brooklyn.
The women regularly sold Hydromorphone at $10 per pill. Hydromorphone is a narcotic pain reliever.
The women were expected to be arraigned this evening on charges of possessing and selling drugs. They could each face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

I wonder if the parefenilia they were talking about were syringes... Granny's doing her duty as an american citizen and getting the neighborhood kids to shoot clean pharmies as opposed to dirty smack!
I'd say $10 for a K2 is a bit steep, but worth it if you don't have 'tolerance issues'... fuck, when will that praise stop haunting me?

says it is a narcotic pain reliever, does this mean u take it when ur coming down and it brings u back up to reality? or whats the deal?
for ten bucks a pop u would hope it did something like that, because that is $10 US!! lol
 
Huh? It's an opiate like oxycodone, morphine, heroin, etc. Opiates are called "narcotic pain relievers" because they are narcotics that relieve pain, go figure.
 
They were probably selling the shit so they could eat, or pay for their medical expenses. Seniors living on fixed incomes are poor, and sometimes can't afford their living expenses. This is not funny. It is SAD. At least now that they are in the custody of the state they will get the food and medical attention they need. This country is fucked. Fuck the government.
 
a 37 year old doctors receptionist just got busted in my town for writing prescriptions for oxycodone. she said she wasn't selling the scripts, she was just using them for herself, and eating ten pills a day. the newspaper didn't specify what mgs pills, but 10!!!
 
they could of been selling since they were young, drug dealers do get old too!

Subliminal_Jac is trying to make a slightly humorous remark I think...i.e. narcotics are indicated for narcotic withdrawal.
Im sure that isn't the first doctors nurse so busted and you didn't say what kind of oxycodone she was getting. 10 160mg oxycontin tablets would be considerable.
 
i have a friend whos grandpa sells a wide selection of pills, my other friends dad is a dealer, and i also have to other friends whos moms we smoke pot with the sad thing is i live in a pretty small town, haha what is this wold coming too.
