Haven't posted anything since end of 2014, early 2015. I have moved from Indianapolis, In. where I saw my primary care physician for pain management. Conditions being treated were fibromyalgia, moderate rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative disc disease in my spine, basically overall widespread chronic pain. Pain management regimen was Lyrica 600 mg, twice a day and Norco 10, 4 times a day. I have been here close to seven months and have yet to find a PCP doctor that takes Medicaid that is not a PA working under some unseen MD, and the reluctance here to send someone to pain management is ridiculous. In 7 months I have managed to get my PA to prescribe me gabapentin 600 mg three times a day with no referral to pain management I am at my wit's end seeking advice. I can travel to Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, even Selma any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would love to just find a physician/MD that will take my Medicaid and see me in his office without having to travel all over God's country, but will do what needs to be done. Thanks in advance ,and sorry if this is too much to post in the hello spot.

Hi hddiva, welcome back to Bluelight.

I share with many of your physical problems but Bluelight dowes not make referrals, nor do we discuss shopping doctors. I am closing this thread, I hope you can find a good physician soon.
