Okay I've had a 4 year long relationship with opiates off and on but in the past 2 months if went through inpatient rehab and now I can't get any opiates prescribed to me because of my addictive personality and my offered me 4 5mg norcos now what I'm wondering is how many should I take, do I still have a little tolerance or a lot

Your tolerance is almost non existent. Take the smallest dose possible. You can always work up if needed.

It's hard to just "lose tolerance" from opioids. You may be able to, but many people have a hard time doing so.

Well it'll never go away completely. Even after long breaks, years, you'll still have some tolerance. Granted, it does go down very quickly and quite a lot compared to when you're actively using, which is why people need to be careful when they pick up again after a long break. Many fatal OD's happen this way. People come back to using, think they can do what they did before, or even half of it (which is often still too much before your tolerance dropped so much), and overdose.
