yeah but dude, i just dont consider it a psychedelic.

like i said, opinions are subjective, and that is mine.
also one thing i have as an opinion of my own is that opinions dont mean shit on the internetz

Well a psyscadellic is generally something that alters someone perception right?
And you telling me your perception doesn't get altered when you smoke weed !?!?!

If it doesn't that's fine and I'll Leave you alone ....

But if it doesn't , I still find it a bit strange . Maybe find a néw source?
 
haha, yes of course it does but i consider psychedelics in the league of say, 2cb, lsd, etcetera...
for me ganja would be classed as a mild sedative, or narcotic (like say.... opium. opium alters one's perception, yet it is not a psychedelic)

yes, i would consider sativa strains psychedelic.
as i would with THC concentrates & extracts.
but not cannabis in general.

Well, assuming that you are a daily smoker or close to it SEGA - as am I - I don't necessarily find indica psychedelic at all anymore, but a long, long time ago in a galaxy far away when I first started smoking herb it was certainly responsible for many memorable experiences that I would deem psychedelic... Albeit a more dissociative experience.

I don't think the cannabis high can be compared to something like LSD or mushrooms; I hesitate to compare those two experiences, but of course we humans love our taxonomy huh...
 
I am a very nostalgic person, weed seems to intensify this. I get these feelings with music and locations that I have smoked in before. I have been puffing in some of these places for 5 to 10 years.

Cannabis has many different effects including some mild psychedelic effects, these mainly include sensory enhancement. Higher doses of cannabis (especially oral) often feature these effects the most.

I've found these effects tend to dull with continued use.

Incorrect. A psychedelic is any substance that alters cognition and perception of the mind. The way weed makes you think differently is why it is considered a psychedelic. Obviously it's a very mild psychedelic, but a psychedelic nonetheless.

Dude drugs affect people differently.

do I think in different thought patterns? yes.
does it alter my visual field? yes. though only since doing other psychedelics
do I have auditory hallucinations? sometimes.
do I think more logically and calmly? no.
do I have senses of delusion? rarely.
does it alter my sense of reality? definitely. obviously it doesn't actually alter reality...

Sure what you said may be true for you, but you can't assume it's the same for everyone.
 
lol think more logically and calmly?? NO and yes weed is a psychedelic man, i expect better from you sega. Some of my friends don't smoke weed any more at all because they say they explode. The term explode in my group refers to a panic/anxiety attack. I mean they get super blown because they have low tolerance and go into explosion mode cuz they can't handle it. That means they are tripping balls. I mean I have had an anxiety attack so bad once while super baked that it was worse than any bad trip i had on shrooms. Respect

cannabis wont. its a psychoactive plant, not a psychedelic.
THC on the other hand i would consider a psychedelic, but in pure form.
(as in honey oil, budder, hashish etc)
in order to have a true psychedelic experience with THC one would need to consume some very potent THC extract such as honey oil, and a lot of it.

i personally have full on hallucinated people who weren't even there while on hashish. ( a LOT of it)
its more like an acid trip than stonedness at this potency.

definitely alter my reality sligthly
it doesn't make me delusional

i just have to slightly more than usual

Dude I rolled so so hard at a passion pit concert this summer. I shit you not, I think I peaked during the song "sleepyhead" and have never felt happier or more at peace with the world. Nothing mattered to me during that song, I was just so happy to be alive.

Every time I hear that song I think of that moment. The feeling is now somewhat diminishing, but I still associate that song with probably the best moment of my life.
