Although they aren't opiates, they are constituents in opium resin thats why I put this in the opiate thread. Sorry if it's the wrong one.

Does anyone know if papaverine and noscapine containing meds are OTC in Australia? If yes please give the brand name, dose and other ingridients.

How Recreational is noscapine and papaverine? Tips please. Thanks in advance.
 
They aren't recreational - although they are present in opium and the opium poppy they aren't opiates. Papaverine is used to induce erections and for heart problems I believe. The "other" opium alkaloids like thebaine, noscapine, papaverine all contribute to opium's efefcts but are not the main active component.
