I take 1.5 Norcos, twice a day and about a week of Kratom inbetween scripts. While at my primary my A1C was pretty high and my doctor prescribed me Ozempic.

Anyone here take these together. Kind of worried about starting Ozempic but I need to bring down my blood sugar and lower my diabetes.

My doctor knows about my pian meds and didn't mention there would be any interactions, but she doesn't know about the Kratom.

Please, any help would be really really appreciated. I get so much anxiety from mixing stuff and I am so sensitive to any odd sensations that get me hyper anxious.

Thanks!

I'm not expert but I did an Internet search . I found no info on Norco interactions. As for kratom, the site attached below claims ozempic and such have no serious interactions with kratom. I can't say how accurate their judgement is but they seem to have looked into kratom interactions widely.
If you find any other information for drug interactions, please share them with us because I imagine other people have similar questions.
Good luck!

Thanks for that information @chippermonk That list of interactions is super helpful. See Kratom is a relatively unknown substance in the world of pharmacology. It is not a medicine accepted for use in pretty much any jurisdiction I'm aware of. It of course has a long history of consumption in its area of growth, though this doesn't give us any of the information that we need. We just know that people have used it in relative safety for hundreds-thousands of years.

With that being said, I'm not familiar with any significant interactions between commonly used drugs and Mitragynine/7-Hydroxytmitragynine. I've yet to hear of anything that gives me any cause for worry or makes me feel you need to be warned.

I am only a doctor of love. I am not trained in medicine, so here is my disclaimer. With that being said, I think you can be relatively sure that this combination is not dangerous. I've not heard of any issues and everything that I've read on the subject is devoid of significant interactions between these two medications or even medications similar to Ozempic.

Monitor yourself for issues. I highly doubt that anything will go wrong, but be cautious as always.
