Norco 10/325 YELLOW CWE

Hello I have been recently diagnosed with Marfan's Syndrome... i am now 24 years old... i am in extreme amounts of pain.... my quack put me on norco 240/month... i dont take the recommended dose(1-2 every 4-6hrs).... i take them based on my pain... ex. in the morning i take 4-6 at once on empty stomach (wait 20min or so) before i can get out of bed and go pee... and then throughout the day i have to take them just about every 4 -6 hours i've noticed...... also at night I wake up right around the 6 hour mark in pain and have to take some more..... i have been doing a little research into my medication, and found that taking that much APAP is no bueno :\ started to look into the CWE method mega thread, and joined so i could make a post because I knew that you could do the CWE on the white norc's, but was told the yellows have binders that make it worthless to do anything other than chew/drink with carbonated beverage to increase absorption.... they are the Norco *snip* yellow 10/325's if it makes a difference

**whomever moderator or whatever reads this has an answer no nead to start a thread, just a simple answer could help? or maybe add to the megathread?? not well versed in forums as of yet, this would be the first one i actually joined, instead of just reading.... much thanks

also one day in particular i took quite a bit of norco, notice my hands were a little puffy swollen, anything to worry about??

you need to talk to your doctor for like 50mcg fent patches or some bigger time released oxies with some oxy irs for break through it sounds to me. but def something that isnt full of apap and has such a low half life or effectiveness compared to say some oxies er or opana er etc but my first vote would be 50-75mcg fent patches used as directed though

wtf? you recommend him to go from hyrdo to fent?? wtf he would fucking die.....since you have a 60mg tolerance, i would ask for oxycontin w/ the norcos for break through pain, or possibly a low dose of opana

As I agre it would be unwise to abuse fentanyl, sure using as directed i am sure this dude would not die from using a 50mcg patch as directed. my doctor recently took me off 120 hydros a month to 25mcg patches and at first i was terrified now im sitting here shaking my fist at all the nay sayers as i go through slight withdrawal syndromes this morning. dont know how or why but thats whats happening but as any good opiate addict, i can handle the wd until it fixes itself. i think 50mcg fent patches would do this guy just right. id say 25mcg but i just don't see that happening its not as bad ass of a drug if used as directed and not used like some stupid ass red neck country bumpkin man child smoking it off tin foil, if your too stupid not to smoke your drugs etc then yeah fent patches are not for you.
 
Yes you can do a CWE on those Norcos. I recommend reading through the megathreads on CWE, and yes, you can post in them :)

-We can't tell you what to tell your doctor to give you, FYI. If your pain is not be treated effectively, speak to your doctor about it. We're not doctors and can't prescribe you an opioid.

While I understand your anger, this sort of thing is better suited for your blog. Again, speak to your doctor if your pain is not being adequately treated.
