Hello bluelight! This is my first thread here. Just wanted to let you know I found a letter on the ground in the psychiatrist's office. I figured I should transcribe it and post it here in case there is any useful information inside:

Random Letter said:
I am diagnosed with major depressive disorder, along with panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I am currently taking sertraline 75mg. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle. I go to the gym more than 5 times a week (Pretty much only muscle training) and ride my bike very often. I take a multivitamin and fish oil. I smoke marijuana occasionally, and take hydrocodone occasionally. I rarely drink alcohol. I usually don't touch any other drugs. Things in life are going alright, so suicidal thoughts are absent (For now).

However, after years of HIGH anxiety and depression, I think chronic stress has caused some damage or weakening of some part of my brain. I find it very hard to focus in my college classes. I can't focus, I have no motivation to do work, and I find new material harder to understand and comprehend than I once did.
I am also not where I want to be with my anxiety and depression symptoms.

I really don't want to touch amphetamine or methylphenidate as I had a minor problem with these stimulants when I was younger. This also goes for benzodiazepines, although I plan to ask for a prescription for an "as needed" benzo prescription when I meet my new psychiatrist.

Anyways, I want to know some ideas on supplements that I can take to maybe improve my depression + anxiety symptoms, and LIFT THE BRAIN FOG.

I am already planning on getting some piracetam, and DMAE.
I would like to keep it strictly to supplements available in the U.S. (Legally, mail order is fine) and non drugs (No RC's, Illegals, etc)

Thank you! Shoot me some suggestions, stacks, single supps, herbs, etc.

Interesting.

hmm interesting i know that DMAE works on choline somehow ...

It is also one of the precursors to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine which is responsible for a bunch of things . alot of them being motor functions.

If the owner of this letter "you found on the floor" was going to take such a thing i would recommend it ..
Piracetam never really did much for me . Gingko bilboa slightly .

But if i were to reccomend a Depression + Anti-Brain fog stack ...
Some musts are Taurine which worked awesomely , DMAE , B-Vitamins and magnesium too. You have to make sure you get highly absorbable forms otherwise your wasting your money and you wont see many effects. .. Take it for around a week and see how ur feeling

i have also tried ginseng (which does nothing but raise my libido.i can jack off like 3 times a day which is unusual for me lol. anti-depressant maybe ?) , Green tea supplements (Antioxidants are good for the brain in lower doses. Too much can have ill effects too . Look it up before trying) .

St Johns wort some have success with . For me it just made me feel like i was in a dream world sort of . A tired dream world . Slept really good though. But for everyone it works differently. You have to take it for at least a month to see full effects - trust me.

A multivitamin never hurt .

5-htp or Tyrosine (i cant find this one ) . . 5htp you shouldnt take too regularly. Only in times of need i would say . It has very subtle effects . Nice if you have drug induced depression from a crazy night on MDMA or Acid .

Potassium - Meant to be good for the brain . Its an electrolyte .

And if you can get it (i cant get it in Canada . Americans Can ) L-Theanine . Look it up on wiki or something . the way this stuff works on the brain sounds crazily cool ! (if true lol)
