Hello there, over the past 5 years i have experienced 2 extremely horrifying events.
Number 1: I was hit by a mini van and suffered a hairline fracture of my faceplate.
2. I was attacked and literally beaten in the head by a guy the size of a football player until unconcious.
Then sustained 9 more blows to the head before the sheer beating brought me back to conciousness.

Since then, i have noticed some cognitive and neurological deficits.
I just recieved 20 grams of noopept in the mail. I took my first dose this morning.
It's weird. At first i wanted to post in the psychedelic message board.

Since my brain damage, i think i just realized that I do not percieve texture. At all. But because it is my own brain. The Trauma happened to me.
Me not percieving textures, would have gone on, as something that, i probably would not have noticed. Due to the fact that something was actually injured.
The injured, became Normal.

Now after 1 dose of 30mg, i can already feel like this sort of reanimation kind of feeling.
My Frontal lobe, used to feel like a prison. I was inside of it there was nothing outside of that hemispherical box.

Now everything is starting to flow but there is a Mild to moderate pressure occuring in my frontal lobe, and my my right hemisphere.
I am mildly hallucinating, and I am feeling extremely sped up.
But then again, all i used to feel was a kind of general stoicism.

Has anyone else on here preformed any research with Noopept or othe Racetams for Brain injury.
Because... holy shit, those Russians.... they are onto something...

I haven't personally researched them for that, but there is a ton of information on successful/failed clinical trials if you run a search on google scholar.

From what I remember off hand, phenylpiracetam may be one of the most effective racetams for traumatic brain injury, noopept also being high up. But I think there studies supporting the use of most of them, along with the occasional failed one.

I've taken almost every racetam to hit the RC market, and like most of them to one degree or another as cognitive enhancers.

That is very interesting to hear, (not the first parts where you get the brain damage, sounds like a pretty bad time) I am very glad you posted this and encourage you to post more as things update.

My vision has enhanced, and i have the ability to complete more tasks with a relative patience, and a cleared headedness.

Before it was literally a muddled stuck feeling all the time, there really isn't any way to describe it.

My girlfriend who has not recieved any injuries as i have,
if she takes 30mg, she gets foggy and needs to lie down.
30mg for me, feels like what coffee used to feel like.
If i mix it with coffee, instead of giving me paranoia and anxiety, i get productive and more vocal.
i've taken up to 90mg in one day...
Marijuana, is potentated a ridiculous amount.
I've been more social, at least in terms of how much i'm willing to input into the conversation.

It's quite remarkable...

I can't think of anything comparable, unless you want to count alcohol consumption. Of course, 'textures' are very much to be considered as constituting a subject, so forgive one for commiserating rather presumptuously?

enjoy. :)

Why the phenyl-one? I think its primarily stimulating, a bit like taking a little of a racetam and something like MPA or so.
If I was the OP Id try one of the older racetams, like piracetam, aniracetam, oxiracetam.

I tried noopept but something with my short term memory was a bit odd, a bit like being high from THC.

Be aware that 30mg is the maximum daily dose specified by the russian manufacturer.
For her maybe 5mg or 10mg could be good, or not. In my case I decided to quit noopept completely even though running in the forest was almost psychedelic with the amount of detail I could take in.

Somewhat reminds me of my psychosis caused by methylphenidate. Well maybe not psychosis, but mania with psychotic features.

I'm not saying YOU are psychotic, but I want to make sure you are taking this with all caution.

The way you describe things are somewhat frightening to read as I'm also looking for any racetam to take to improve my brain function.

So here's my question which might be off-topic:

Could any of the racetams, Phenylpiracetam in particular, cause psychosis or mania?

Could any of the racetams, Phenylpiracetam in particular, cause psychosis or mania?

Until I researched that today, I would have said almost certainly not. But apparently there is at least one case report with levetiracetam: http://europepmc.org/abstract/MED/12875956

Although there are also plenty of trials showing various racetams effectiveness as adjunct treatments in psychosis, so I don't think it is a major problem.

Well let me see here, i'm a little under two weeks into taking almost 100mg a day.
I honestly do not note, any negative side effects. I do believe that this batch, maybe cut down.
I masterfully brewed 11.5 grams of dmt of out a bunch of acacia vine that i had.

I dunno, life has been improving sense taking it. I mean i know it seems like alot.

But Piracetam, require such drastically high doses for so many days constantly in a row before any true effects are noted.

I kinda just wanted to get my head wet.... and honestly it feels nice.

I confess already to being a Manic mother fucker but i have never specifically gone out of my way to put myself on any true medications.

Less bored, and more verbal. It's nice.

Hmm, Russian things scare me. I think its also causing you to use commas in your writing at inappropriate spots.

Amen Tweex.
They did make some amazing shit.
It even has my sleep cycles back into a normal mode.
while making me feel social and stimulated all day long
without any negative things like sweating or anxiety.

I will note for about 30 minutes during the under the tounge absorption of it, i get a little queasy.
But honestly i think this is mostly due to taste.

L-DOPA is a Nootropic which causes
the side effects of L-DOPA may include, but not limited to:

Hypotension, especially if the dosage is too high
Arrhythmias, although these are uncommon
Nausea, which is often reduced by taking the drug with food, although protein interferes with drug absorption
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Disturbed respiration, which is not always harmful, and can actually benefit patients with upper airway obstruction
Hair loss
Disorientation and confusion
Extreme emotional states, particularly anxiety, but also excessive libido
Vivid dreams or insomnia
Auditory or visual hallucinations
Effects on learning; there is some evidence that it improves working memory, while impairing other complex functions
Somnolence and narcolepsy
A condition similar to stimulant psychosis
