Non MDxx substance reacts black/purple to Marquis?

Normal reaction to Marquis but substance is "unidentified" and not MDxx. Have a look at the reaction to the other reagents. Any guesses what it might have been, or is there just no damn way to know?

um who knows? perhaps email em and ask directly, as from that limited amount of data it's pretty much impossible to tell. could be a typo of some sort.
with those reactions it should be MDA. oh wait a minute... the Mecke reaction is described as "Green to Purple" where as the classic MDxx reaction to Mecke is described as "Green to Blue/Black". is this just a subjective choice of words or did it indeed have a different reaction than the classic MDxx one?

I would definitely like to know what is in those pills also.
I ate some pills that appeared identical to the ones posted. I was really fucked up before I took them, but not on mdma, just alcohol, nugs, pain killers and a little bit of shrooms.
I felt something from the pills, but not the same feeling that you get from good mdma, or even mda or mdea. I thought that they were just old or really weak pills, that were cut with caffeine or some other substance. But apparently the whole pill came up as an "unidentified substance" in the tests. So if anyone finds out what these pills actually contain, please keep us informed. I would really like to know what was in them.
