So normally I get that nice tingly feeling in my brain after I iv a dose of meth, but lately I haven't been getting it. I'm guessing it's due to tolerance of meth, but could heroin use also diminish the effects of a meth rush? I guess the idea being that that heroin has already depleted the dopamine in my brain and thus the meth doesn't have much/any to release when it get there?

If you are on heroin before you do the meth, then the rush will diminish significantly. You can't really get two rushes. Coke and Heroin is the exception when done in the same shot (speedball). Meth + Heroin isn't what you'd expect, and either/or while on the other will be significantly weaker in terms of the rush. It's better just to take meth first, then heroin later when the meth dies down in my opinion. Then you reap the fell benefits of both, however this pattern is extremely compulsive and highly addictive and probably one of, if not the most risky combinations to tinker with.

No, not in my experience. I have a pretty massive IV opiate habit and shooting meth always puts a huge smile on my face.

Yeah, I've been totally zonked on H and still gotten some blasters of IV coke so, while it can diminish the high sometimes, the rush is usually still pretty intense.

It happens more where heavy stim usage ruins a good opiate rush/high. Not the other way around.
