I get no alcohol hangover with certain drugs, eg coke or Ritalin... well, I get eventually burned out from coke if I do enough, ie, I get exhausted and need to crash out longer than usual to recover but certainly no typical alcohol hangover for sure.

How about you and, I've always wondered, why is this?

I think it'd just be the stimulation from the drugs and the subsequent comedown that just overcomes it. That said, i've had plenty of mean hangovers if I kept drinking after I stopped doing the stims..

Mixing alcohol with a low dose of diazepam/alprazolam helps me not drink too much and still reach the same effect, reducing next-day hangovers. Also, a bit of diazepam the day after drinking is fantastic for making you feel normal.

I don't think that any drug, if taken while drinking, will make you not develop a hangover. If there is, it's probably H2O - dehydration is usually a big factor in hangovers.

If I take a Xanax while drinking, I will feel totally fucked up the next morning. If I take the Xanax in the morning, it kills my hangover.
If I take methamphetamine or diazepam in the evening while drinking, they are STILL ACTIVE when you wake up, keeping your hangover at bay.

I'm going to close this. There's no HR-content involved, and this is highly subjective at best.

You're not going to be able to take more drugs to hold off a hangover w/o accruing an additional comedown of some kind. You can only mask, not prevent. This can also end up being dangerous with certain drugs / drug combinations.

PM me with any queries.
