If there were a drug I could take that would make me a whirlwind tour of schizophrenia, I would try it.
Try staying up 5 days on meth and dropping a shitload of acid afterwards. That should get you a pretty close estimate.

^ But see, how do you know that?
Have you been "naturally" schizophrenic before, then tried the above combo and found it similar?

No, of course I can't say that for sure. Then again if I were schizophrenic, would I necessarily know it? Who's to say I'm not? Possibly I'm suffering from a latent form of schizophrenia which only manifests itself while I sleep... maybe that's why I have such weird dreams...
Anyway. Back to topic. Yeah, I can't say for sure, but by extrapolating from what some schizophrenic acquaintances have told me about their condition and the condition I have found myself in while combining high dose LSD on top of a several days of meth-induced sleep deprivation... there are similarities.

Now I wouldn't know that for sure, but I do know that sleep deprivation and dopaminergic agonists like amphetamine are utilized for animal models of schizophrenia. Dopamine overactivity may not be the full story behind schizophrenia (I doubt the answer would be that simple), but I kinda see where the other poster is coming from, just based on what they utilize for animal studies.

^ Correction: They are used for human consesus on what is schizophrenia in animal models.
I'd really love to have a coversation with a rat that has been out of touch with reality.

Oh, I don't think they truly have given rats schizophrenia just by feeding them meth for days. Its just a model or approximation, that's all. The rat's experience is something we can only guess at as humans.
