So, I've read quite a few anecdotal reports with DXM and reduction/preventable tolerance of various drugs.

I couldn't find much in terms of combining DXM with another mild antagonist such as magnesium. Is there any benefit of combining the two?
It seems therapeutic doses of DXM is sufficient enough, but wasn't sure if there would be any potentiating or synergistic effects of adding some magnesium. Also unsure of a dosage if I were to combine the two.

you wouldnt feel the difference really. magnesium is weak, doesnt produce recreational NMDA antagonist effects like dxm or ketamine.

taking magnesum on DXM wont hurt, it might give you a nice little placebo or synergy. if you are taking the DXM+mg to reduce/prevent tolerance than yes adding Mg to the DXM will help prevent tolerance, not as good as memantine though.

Nah, not so much to use them recreationaly. Just to help with opiates mainly. Was just unsure if mg would be pointless or not. If I did combine it though, what would be good? I was originally thinking 30mg (standard dosage) of the DXM to prevent tolerance, but unsure about mg.

I've heard good things about memantine, but a script is generally needed for that right?
