there have been several studies on animals using dxm to potentiate opiates up to 40% however when tested on humans the results aren't that good. the reason must studies think is because that rat studies use 20mg a kg which means a person would have to use a over a gram of dxm. however
a studies on rats using Agmatine at 10mg a kg showed potentiate of up to 60% and the important thing in this study is that at 10mg a kg this would be a normal dose for a person.
the study was
Modulation of opioid analgesia by agmatine in
European Journal of Pharmacology 296 (1996) 17-22
