Hello, I am trapped in hot & humid Florida the last stop in the USA. I am a NJ/NY native and it is so boring here. I joined because I found this site to be very informative and I also have some information I would LOVE to share.
I am very chatty and like to make friends. I will express my views but I am not the type who will put people down just to make a point.
The info I have to share is how to get most of your medication for FREE or at low cost! I do not work for any company that provides services I just think people need to know about these programs!
If you have no insurance or if you have insurance but do not make all that much go to www.needymeds.com this site lists every program out there!
If you ever have any ? about the paperwork look me up! I used to work for a doctors group submitting insurance claims and filing tons of paperwork for patients so I know the ins & outs of the pain in the rear paperwork :D
Meds should be low cost or FREE these companies have made enough off of our pain & suffering.
One other note I am a Pain Patient have been for 15 years now. Only taking meds for the last 8. I tried everything to put off taking pain pills because working where I did I knew it would be for the rest of my life. Anyway I recently received my script of 60mg Oxycontin and it's the new OP.s they are killing me! I am so sick to my stomach & they seem to be giving me a headache. I am glad I do not pay not 1 cent for these or I would be PISSED! I am still in pain and will have to see about trying to get the old formula pills. I read that if you have your doctor write you up for the old ones they should send them Well I will let you know what happens!
We as Americans are supposed to have freedom. To me this includes the freedom to take whatever medication is available to me not to have the government pressure manufactures into making garbage! I recently read an article in The Washington Times that stated the charges against Perdue where over trumped and many of the facts & numbers where incorrect on purpose to slander a company that was making a great medication. Read it for yourself here - http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/feb/22/pain-inflicted-on-oxycontin/
Have a GREAT NIGHT!!!
