NITROUS: Whats the best kind of siphon?

I was wandering what was the best kind of device for inflating nitrous balloons to use it recreationally.

THE ONLY KIND OF N2O CARTRIDGES I HAVE ACCESS TO ARE THE LITTLE 8g UNTHREADED ONES, so i'm asking bout devices that work with those ones.


There are TWO kinds of SIPHONS:

-The SODA/SELTZ Siphon.

-The actual proper WHIPPED CREAM Siphon.

I found out that the soda siphon is somewhat cheaper and the gas flows out of it more forcefully, the creamy one instead has a more sophisticated valve on the output(so more expensive) so the gas comes out easy and with less force, is it good or bad? Keep in mind that i want to inflate many balloons (party-like setting) to keep sharing the experience. ;)

The only thing that makes me wander about the efficiency of any kind of SIPHON is that im worried most of the N2O will remain trapped in the bottle and it will not be able to completely inflate the balloon. But maybe this little inconvenient is overcome by inflating many consequential balloons..bah i really dunno thats just speculation..... :?

Then there are the little cheap CRACKERS, they can be good for a cheap solution but i have serious doubts bout their quality, some of them i had broke after a really tooo short time and some of my friends told me that some other kinds are not very functional and efficient. :p
For these reasons i would rule fucking Crackers out of question. :o

I have an old BOC soda syphon like (http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/160828709065?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla) it very good and is loads easier to use than a cracker. Crackers tend to give you cold burns and are really noisy.

What I do is put a circular bit of plastic between the bottle and the valve and use a bit of cord to hold the valve lever fully open. This way the gas bypasses the bottle and goes straight in the balloon. The other way I use it is to take the plastic out so the gas goes into the balloon and then inhale directly from the syphon.
 
Hey growit can you elaborate better what you said pleaze?

Can you inflate a balloon directly from the siphon without having to make any modification to it? aka does it work well to inflate balloon or you lose half of it in the bottle???

do your kind of siphon take standard 8 gram cartridges?

You have to make a slight addition to the syphon.

When you unscrew the bottle on my syphon there is a rubber washer on top of the bottle so gas does not escape when filling the bottle. If you put a bit of plastic on top of this washer, the plastic from a tobaco pouch will work well, then screw the bottle up the gas will not go in the bottle. As long as the lever is held open with some string you can now use the syphon as a big cracker. Put the baloon on the nozzle then crack the whippet.

You will lose no gas by doing this.
 
I have no visualization of what you guys are talking about but I know of a whippets dispenser being used (probably multi-cartridging) hitting a guy in the face breaking his nose. I was not present when that happened. But I have been present with a screw-on part of the dispenser launching off like that from a busted mini gastank and it luckily did not hit any person.

I'm not sure what the exact pressure inside those things is but realize it's dangerous and that might wanna spend the extra money on the least ghetto or least modified cracker out there.
 
Most def. get a whip cream cracker Just unscrew and pop the n2o and screw it back in and inhale get high as a kite for a minute or two. Specially awesome if your on some shrooms or k or lsd and crack some Feel the music flow into your face and sit back and enjoy Also laugh your ass off and talk with a super deep voice that is great when your high Its hilarious

Use cation I had the whoomp whoomps last for almost a hour before Kinda freaked me out. Just dont sit there and crack a fifty pack you will get a crucial headache and you run the risk of losing to much oxygen in your brain then your fucked Also lights out and you can pass out and crack your head open. Be careful but enjoy

As far as finding it Hit up your local friendly porno shop At mine The managers name is Kenny and talk about a crazy Mo Fo And Its always a plus laughing at the losers that buy tokens and jerk off in the viewing booths.
 
We use the cream whippers as well.. Cheap and easy.. Also, rc, I totally agree w/ you, super fun on shrooms..
 
They make "filters" for nitrous oxide that you're supposed to screw onto a whipped cream maker, and which passes the gas through a filter or somesuch. These are cheaper than a whole whipped cream maker, and are ideal for filling balloons or bags

(I've never been able to use balloons for nitrous, no matter how I fill them - there's so much back pressure, I can't breathe the nitrous back out into the balloon, and breathing in from it is almost painful for the same reason. I use those large hefty one-zip bags, with the "filter" (ie, cracker) output directed into the bag at the bottom, then I open the zipper and inch or two and inhale from that).
