Bluelighter
Once again taken from my journal of trip reports and other stupid stuff.
Dosage:
T -~7 hours: 130mg MDMA (gelcap)
T +0-1 hours: 4 nitrous bulbs
Experience:
MDMA - experienced
Nitrous oxide - second time
Background:
I'd been out all weekend celebrating my birthday. I'd been to dinner and a club on friday, and a Bluelight pissup and and rave on saturday. Left the rave and regrouped at closing time - 6am. Caught up with James, Jack, Samantha, Rebecca (different one) and Tanya and went to the park. Caught up with other ravers there. Some of them thought the rave finished at 7am and not 6, so they were still peaking, others were taking their last pills between now and 11am. I had come down off my cap several hours before and was feeling a bit miffed - not scattered, not really tired either, just miffed.
The experience:
Killed some time till like 9-10am before we went around the city looking for nangs. Got some a block away from uni and came back with 30 of them. Ash somehow had a bulberator with her so we borrowed that and gave her the first nang. I had the second (ever, if medical grade counts), hyperventilated it, which just induced a feeling of numbness, deafness and just general fuzziness. Took a few minutes to come off it. Pleasant, but mildly addictive. James and Jack had the next ones. Tanya had her first one ever and there happened to be a helicopter flying overhead and it freaked her out a fair bit. She blamed the helicopter. Scash and her boy bought themselves a box just after we did so they had some. Samantha also had her first around now.
Then James and Jack advised me to do a double. I loaded up two nangs into the balloon, took it in two breaths before everything went black and white and I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I wasn't unconcious otherwise I would have collapsed. No, this was dissociation. My senses were completely shut off for a minute or two, which felt closer to five or ten. I came to and noticed Tanya picking my nose. what a strange girl. It took me a few minutes to completely come down. During this time, there was that feeling of numbness and euphoria, as well as a constant ringing and drilling noise in my ears. Now I knew where the word 'nang' came from! Jack was going on and on about that word and Scash was laughing hysterically. I didn't feel much like laughing, though, but I did have a smile stuck on my face.
By now we were at the tail end of the second box, or was it the front end of the third? Or did James and Jack take the last box home? I can't remember, my memory might have been fuzzy from the nangs. Anyway, I had one more and hyperventilated it this time. Got the same effects as the double, so either I did it right this time or I got reverse tolerance. Anyway, seeing as someone selling acid was supposedly coming, I decided to save a nang for when I got some. He didn't make it. Now I have one nang and no cracker. Guess I'll make one this week.
Also on the train home I dozed off a few times and each time felt like I had another nang! What incredible value for money! I was discussing this with James today and said it was just me noticing that low-level sleep and dissociation are similar. Probably true, and if that's dissociation, bring on ketamine!
