nos - 1st time - electric silver fish

Last night i tried nos. After one, i just needed to get that high once again. It was amazing, like nothing i had ever felt. After about my 5th nos bulb i went and wrote down what i thought at the time.

Nos was like a bucket of liquid aluminium foil was poured over my brain and then it ran into all the little cracks of my brain and was absorbed by all the little nodes and receptors. It felt like tiny little blue fish were swimming through my veins, and my ears chhopped up all the sound around me. It sounded like a helicopter swooshing its blades in slow motion, and then it gets faster and faster into a whine and then slows down back to normal. And its warm and fuzzy, like those flowers where u blow on them and all the fuzzy bits fly off. It felt like all those fuzzy flower bits were blown through my head and out the other side and left static electricity buzzing everywhere.

And i think that pretty much summed it up. Its an amazing, unique experience.

The only downsides to it is its fleetingness and how expensive it can be.

Ha.. You should try it in the midst of a strong psychedelic experience. I once thought Nitrous was cool on its own. After trying it on a 16mg 2C-E trip, doing it alone is boring and not intense.
 
^^^ i to have tried nos mixed with acid. i found it to be great but also very intense. (when both were mixed)

ive not heard of the experience being described like you have done though ;) i guess thats why once youve had it...you go back for more.
 
I used to have a 10lb NOS tank that I would fill quite regularly, then I upgraded to a 20lb tank and filled it religiously. I will never do NOS ever again, though, because you get those 2 minutes of 'entertainment' then a good 15-30 minutes of feeling down and rather crappy. Not worth it anymore so I have since sold both my tanks. This was years and years ago.

I filled them at the local places that provided the most pure nitrous without the additives (forget what all they are and were now because I haven't been around nitrous in so long and don't plan to be) to make sure I wasn't doing any more damage than necessary. It's the best way to go with the big tanks, considering you can get a good 100-150 12" balloons filled (at least) off a full 10lb. tank which costs less than $40 to fill (the 20lb tank I'd fill cost between $60-70 locally depending on where I went) so if you do the math it's not that pricy at all.

I've combined NOS with cocaine, ecstasy, acid, acid+ecstasy, ether, mushrooms, amphetamines, etc. The best experience by far was the first time I combined it with MDA (the first night, rather) -- words just can't describe it. Balloon after balloon I wasgently sent to and from a world that was visualized by thoughts which were completely audible in the mind and ever-changing is the best way I can describe it. Everytime after that night, nitrous and ecstasy (whether it was MDMA or MDA) just seemed to knock my friends and I out to and from reality. Still enjoyable, nonetheless, but nothing like that first night.

HAH! And now watch your wallet suffer from anorexia as that need to get high once more happens again, and again and again. Welcome to "bulbwhoredom" It's a fun place, but watch your wallet now suffer from terminal anorexia. =D

This is a great report, I read it and my little "boy that's a short report" radar went off just before my "Christ, nitrous is impossible to describe to anyone who hasn't done it, so props" one did. I see people commenting on it's use combined with psychedelics, and yes, it's a fantastic combination with anything. A world of opportunity has opened up.

2C-I + MDMA, + Nitrous at the peak.... Might have been the most intense thing I've ever done. Probably more intense than 12 mg of 5-MeO-DMT and im serious.
 
Have to say that's a fairly decent report of a nitrous trip, especially considering it was only your first.

I have to say, try it on psychedelics, it takes the psychedelic flux of whatever substance you're on and pushes it just that bit further, i've had numerous out-of-body-experiences with it.

Nitrous = God

edit: Oh I especially agree with the helicoptor bit, I think that nitrous somehow manages to slow down/stop time, I fucking swear! Also wholeheartedly agree with the metallic nature of nitrous :D
 
I'll third the metallic nature... the noise & feeling freaked me out for a bit after going overboard second time of use.

Last night I realised why I enjoy it so much... it makes me walk the fine line between sanity & insanity & you just don't know what side you're going to drop onto ;)

LSD + MDMA + truckloads of bulbs = HUGE FUN
 
nitrous doesn't feel metalic to me but I got kick outta wally world because I was doing whip-it's with ready whip. they approached me after i bought groceries in the parkinglot.

I was like "I was tasting the whipped cream" and the guy was like "no u were huffing it" I told him "look buddy, i've given wal-mart so much money over the years it's not even funny!"

I was like "look chump, i'll pay for the bottles"

They just banned me for 2 years, oh well.

I personally am not a huge fan but can see why others like it...
I would be careful mixing bulbs and psychs.... i know some people like it but there are a lot of people who dont like it...

if you have bulbs mid trip then it usually changes the trip into a different gear from then on....sometimes a higher gear....but sometimes a bad one.

thats just me though...
 
I found that the metalic ringing noise gradually goes away after a few nitrous sessions never to return - enjoy it while it lasts [or don't]. It reminds me of the echo-noise in the computer game half-life.

Don't do bulbs and dramamine (Diphenhydramine). I've found they practically kill a diphenhydramine trip, each bulb I had seemed to lessen the intensity of the diphenhydramine. Your mileage may vary, but it was interesting to note that It did that for me anyway.

I thought that was just me! The ringing noise was extremely pronounced the first few times I did nitrous, but now it has seemed to occur less or disappear completely. Is it something to do with tolerance? Or is it still happening but my mind is expecting it so it takes less notice of it?

Great trip report by the way - I'm off to get some nangs ;)
 
The noise doesn't happen as often to me anymore either. It happens more often when there is loud music playing though. MDMA and nitrous is my favorite combo. An extremely intense combo is salvia and nitrous, but sometimes I forget how to inhale the nitrous when I'm tripping on salvia.
 
MDMA and Nitrous totally rocks... Man, it makes the roll come on HHHAAAAARRRRDDDD after a few hours of waiting.... definatley wait a while during the roll to do NOS...

Definately be sitting down, or even better, MDMA, Nitrous in a SHOWER!!! LISTEN to the water...

shower nos *drools* oh i need to try that

i was doing the nos again last weekend and realised that the nanging and helicopter swooshing and everything was definately less pronounced. :\ im kinda worried.

how much nos does it take before it is dangerous for your brain. i dont want to be poisoning my little head. :). and dont tell me the obvious like "any drug is dangerous for poor brain" because i know that. I mean how much would it take before your brain started to rot.
 
Great report. I actually just tried NOS for the first the other night also. Quite amazing! I never thought it would be that good and intense even though it doesn't last for that long. I can see how great this could be when combined with Psychedelics, which I intend exploring very soon.
 
I did nitrious while high on 20mg of 2ci and 20mg of 2ce. It was quite overwhelming. It was really awsome. Except for one time near the end of the night when just the 2ce was coarsing through me, I did nitrious and had a panic attack while comming down.

Yes, that definatly sucked ass. If you can do it, get a TANK of nitrious and just filter the autograde kind. Thats how that shit is supposed to be done ;)
