Has anyone else ever done a case in one sitting? by case I mean 25 boxes which is 600 whipits.

I did it once when my boyfriend left me and then again another time when I was pretty depressed.

I've come to realize that it is too morish for me and now I only do it if I'm on DXM and/or Salvia as other substances get rid of the morishness.

nitrous is pretty safe overall, as long as you breath oxygen and don't get frostbite...but it certainly is not good to do huge amounts like I did those two times...it stops being fun after about six boxes for me but then I want to keep going b/c I don't like to baseline when I'm on it.
 
Nitrous may be safe for short-term use, but please read this trip report, as it indicates possible severe issues with long-term abuse.

While the trip report is long, it's extremely well written.

If you're not using nitrous for the long-haul you can probably disregard my warning but I would still urge you to read the warning for sure.

In the OP's time (OP of the link), there wasn't any known long-term damage from nitrous use, so he would have wished he had heard about a report like his.

I never personally really "liked" nitrous per say, it's OK, but I haven't done it more than a half dozen to dozen times for sure. I've taken one nitrous balloon while I've watched my friends sit around and take, literally dozens in a row. There was one other person who was taking maybe one or two for every dozen others were taking, and I remember when two of my friends were literally "nodding out" on nitrous (100% unresponsive, unable to keep the air in the balloon from escaping though their fingers are holding it) and we just kind of stared at each other with a worried look until they snapped out of it.

Anyways I think your use of it - once here and there with salvia or DXM, is a good way to go about it. :)
 
never done that much but ive done many boxes after only intending to do a few chargers. i don't know how safe it is, as it tends to leave me feeling sick afterward.

hippies move most of the shit (tanks anyway) and it is fiendish as fuck...

I've seen people hit balloons off the tank all night long, on top of LSD/MDMA

I'm not a fan of sub 5-minute highs myself, so no nitrous or crack for me.
 
I've found with most drugs: the shorter the duration the higher the fiendishness. I'm betting snorted MDMA powder would be very morish too since it doesn't last as long as eating it. I wouldn't know having only ever rolled from tablets though.
 
I think the reason it's so moreish is that the act of loading chargers is habit-forming and the duration of effects is very short, so you can't even have a trip without doing many hits, so it is easy to keep going and going.
 
ugh, no kidding -- I now only get how ever many boxes I plan to do, as when I get home and start -- I'm not stopping till they are gone. Hence, I only do this a couple times a year. And ya, combined w/other drugs, MUCH better.
 
^ yeah I'm taking a long hiatus from nitrous, I thought about quitting completely, but I know I'm going to do it again, the couple times per year sounds ideal though. It no longer has any "magic" for me for starting out sober, but it can be fantastic on top of some decent psychedelics. But frankly for the price K is probably a better choice, I just didn't have a hookup for K for many years until more recently.
 
Remember to replenish yourself with lots of vitamin B after having nangs. They are actually quite bad for you. There are reports of people losing circulation in parts of their body, not being able to control their bladder and then there's the rare cases of people dying from asphyxiation.

I've had a case to myself once or twice, i can't do less than 6 boxes in a sitting without driving to get more. It's terrible, easily the most fiendish drug i've ever had. I don't trip out on them anymore though, they kind of just relax me. It's devistating when that happens. About 6 months ago i got too frustrated that i couldn't reach the "nang loop" no matter how many boxes i had so i decided to give them up for a while in the hopes i could maybe reach it again. I really hope i can.
 
I concidered Time release Ketamine for chronic pleurisy/costochondritis vs. DXM and opioids. I also read an article discussing N2o to aid in quitting cigarettes.

In the long run, this could/will do more harm then the right psychiatric med.

I hope you find some peace, have you ever considered hypno/suggestive therapy ?
 
Nitrous may be my fav drug on the whole damn planet. Well ok besides morphine and IV dilaudid. If your doing alot of it make sure you take b-12 vitamines too because nitrous depletes that and lack of b-12 causes a whole shitload of problems. I don't know the side effects of long term use but id imagine like any dissociative that it will cause some side effects.
 
^ I haven't noticed any real side effects from the nitrous itself other than occasional feelings of depersonalization the day or two after a long bender. I have been very aware to take a SL B12 supplement after my trips, so I don't know if that is what kept me safe from experiencing the kind of problems Captain H was referring to.

I do think I may have had some respiratory issues long ago from poor-quality chargers, where there was some nasty oily crap that sometimes seeped through. But that fixed itself quickly when I started ordering medical-grade chargers and using a NitroKit filter. I am generally in tune with health risks on things and try to avoid any really risky behavior if I can.

That is why I tell people to wear gloves if they're going to do a lot of chargers, to avoid over-exposure to cold, frostbite is not the only potential danger, long-term exposure to cold caused me to develop Raynaud's phenomenon. Nitrous is one of those drugs that doesn't have a ton of risk by itself, but has many mitigating risk factors if you don't take a lot of precautions.
 
"Thinking Right Now" sounds interesting, I have a HemiSynch CD that I've been getting much use out of for like; 16 years. I've found it helpful for both psychological distress & as a tool to divert or transcend myself from chronic pain.
 
^ I have that one too, and it is kind of interesting, not sure how it works really though. I haven't used it in a few years but it does seem to help induce a meditative state naturally.

TRN works through repetition of empowering phrases and I've found that to be invaluable in improving mental self-talk.
 
Ahh, see that's a common practice for me.

HemiSynch roughly by semdind a low frequency into one ear, at let's say 5, then the other ear at "5" as well, then both ears at the time at "7"; causing the L&R hemisphers of your brain to begin to work together.

Awesome stuff, very subtle & $$! or so it was in the 90's hehs. Also, MindFolds are amazing, some don't apply pressure to certain points around your eyes & temples... annnd I'm sure you could find other uses for it, I did for sure...!
