I don't really have much of a back story to this, other than I had about 10 cans of un-opened whipped cream left over from a charity program.

I figured, why not try nitrous, it has sounded fairly interesting in the past. And that's what I did.

1 Can - Felt like a mild crappy cannabis peak that lasted for a minute, really.

-5 minute break...

2 Cans - Body felt light as a feather, and I saw myself smiling in the mirror not even knowing I was. A very nice body buzz was accompanied.

-15 minute break...

3 Cans - Mind blowing that I could feel this way from whipped fucking cream. My whole body was numb and warm feeling, almost as if I was on a mid-class opiate. The euphoria was like no other, I burst out laughing right when it hit me and the sounds flowed out like magic. Wrists, neck, and ankles felt as if they were being hung to my arms by a thin rubber band. Only cons were that I felt somewhat frightened when my breathing kind of slowed, which I hear is a common side effect. Also a semi irritating headache, but nothing a little Tylenol couldn't take care of.

I think that for an item you can find in every other fridge, it's pretty damn amazing. It feels like a combination of a lot of different drugs, given the body buzz, euphoria, cloudy head, and relaxed muscles, but more mild.

It's a bit disappointing that the peak lasts only around 30 seconds, but it still is a damn nice trip.

That's all I have to say for now, and if you're going to try this be safe and don't go over-board.

And here's where I have the clever response.

Don't assume I haven't tried any of those and aren't an active user of any of those, because I happen to have tried 3/5 of those, which aren't hard to get a hold of.

Kay, thanks.

solvents fail.
try real drugs now.

shrooms, molly, 2C's, peyote, cannabis, something good.

I fucking hate imediate responces like that, don't just judge a person because they use a legal drug that isn't a pill once. I hate when people are like, "DO A REAL DRUG MAN!" "I fucking have! But nitrous is fucking awesome, why dont you just fucking try nitrous?!' lol I've only done it once from a whipped cream can and it was only 1 can but it felt like how you described 2 cans to be. I probably won't use it anymore cause it lasts like 30 seconds.. But I really look forward to using it as a combo, I wanna try it right after I take a bong toke and see how that is, then next time I do lsd i'll do nitrous at the peak!!

umm, the difference between doing a real psychedelic and doing solvents and such is that, the high you get from "real drugs" comes from triggering an inebriation in the brain, while inhalants, the high you get is temporary and is caused by your brain trying to repair all the massive amounts brain cells you killed at one time, which of course, is impossible.

to go further you have abesolutley no idea what you are talking about do some research about nitrous oxide and realize that everything you said is complete bullshit.

nitrous is what is in whipped cream cans thats what he was talking about when you told him not to use solevants but to use real drugs try a nice fat balloon of nitrous and tell me that its not a real drug and your brain is just being deprived of oxygen.

Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a dissociative drug that can cause analgesia, depersonalization, derealization, dizziness, euphoria, and some sound distortion.

Since the earliest uses of nitrous oxide for medical or dental purposes, it has also been used recreationally as an inhalant, because it causes euphoria and slight hallucinations. Only a small number of recreational users (such as dental office workers or medical gas technicians) have legal access to pure nitrous oxide canisters that are intended for medical or dental use. Most recreational users obtain nitrous oxide from compressed gas containers which use nitrous oxide as a propellant for whipped cream or from automotive nitrous systems. Automotive nitrous available to the public sometimes has ~100 ppm sulfur dioxide and/or elemental sulfur added to prevent recreational use/abuse; (not hydrogen sulfide as suggested by). Inhalation of such a mixture is nearly impossible after one breath due to gagging and sooner or later, involuntary clamping off of the trachea; (some with "sulfite" allergies could even die due to allergic reaction).

Users typically inflate a balloon or a plastic bag with nitrous oxide from a tank or a one-use 'charger' (often referred to as a cracker, as it 'cracks' open the nitrous canister), and then inhale the gas for its effects. Highly compressed liquid expelled from a tank or canister is extremely cold, and should not be inhaled directly, thus for medical and recreational use it is decompressed into something else, such as a balloon, first. Mis-cracked canisters can cause skin damage due to freezing temperatures.

Recreational users typically do not mix it with air or oxygen and thus may risk injury or death from anoxia if they tie plastic bags around their heads or otherwise obstruct their breathing.

Nitrous oxide can be habit-forming because of its short-lived effect (generally from 0.1 – 1 minutes in recreational doses). Long-term use in excessive quantities has been associated with vitamin B12 deficiency anemia due to reduced hemopoiesis, neuropathy, tinnitus, and numbness in extremities, unless vitamin B12 supplements are taken to counteract this. Pregnant women should not use nitrous oxide as chronic use is teratogenic and foetotoxic. One study in rats found that long term exposure to high doses of nitrous oxide may lead to Olney's lesions that may become persistent.

you're right dude, this shit sounds like WIN.

as apposed to...

Physical

Depending on the amount of mushrooms ingested, myriad physical reactions can be experienced: a loss of appetite, coldness in the extremities, increase of pulse rate, numbness of the mouth and adjacent features, nausea, elevated blood pressure, weakness in the limbs (making locomotion difficult), muscle relaxation, yawning, swollen features and pupil dilation.
Sensory

Noticeable changes to the audio, visual, and tactile senses may become apparent from between ten minutes to an hour after ingestion. These shifts in perception, visually, include enhancement and contrasting of worldly colors, strange light phenomena (such as auras or "halos" around light sources and other beings), increased visual acuity, surfaces that seem to ripple, shimmer, or breathe; complex open and closed eye visuals of form constants or images, objects that warp, morph, or change solid colors; a sense of melting into the environment, and trails behind moving objects. Sounds seem to be heard with increased clarity; music, for example, can often take on a profound sense of cadence and depth. Some users experience synesthesia, wherein they perceive, for example, a visualization of color upon hearing a particular sound.

Emotional

As with other psychedelics such as LSD, the experience, or "trip," is strongly dependent upon set and setting. A negative environment could likely induce a bad trip, whereas a comfortable and familiar environment would allow for a pleasant experience, although neither side of this binary is without exception.
In 2006, the U.S. government funded a randomized and double-blinded study by Johns Hopkins University which studied the spiritual effects of psilocybin mushrooms. The study involved 36 college-educated adults who had never tried psilocybin nor had a history of drug use, and had religious or spiritual interests; the average age of the participants was 46 years. The participants were closely observed for eight-hour intervals in a laboratory while under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms.

One-third of the participants reported that the experience was the single most spiritually significant moment of their lives and more than two-thirds reported it was among the top five most spiritually significant experiences. Two months after the study, 79 percent of the participants reported increased well-being or satisfaction; friends, relatives, and associates confirmed this.

wow, N2O sounds so super fun.

wow, N2O sounds so super fun.

you didnt even list any affects of nitrous it looks like you did a google search of negative health risks (suffocating from a bag????) and then you looked up all the effects of mushrooms so your comparison doesnt make any sense do a balloon like i said

heres your effects of nitrous you listed "an inhalant, because it causes euphoria and slight hallucinations"
then that whole long list of what mushrroms do to you. you have no idea what nitrous does to you maybe you should try it instead of relying on the internet i guess

okay, no, I literally looked nitrous oxide and mushrooms on the same website, and copy and pasted the "Effects" section from both of them, thanks for playing though.

and besides, I may have a negative bias towards nitrous oxide for a reason. one of my good friends got addicted to it (he's a dentist) and ended up suffering from extensive nerve damage, I am looking out for you kids here.

trust me theres no need to bash nitrous as long as you are smart with it you wont have a problem. nitrous is a completley different high than mushrooms etc.. theres no need to say theres something wrong with it because it isnt like mushrooms.

you are completely ignoring what I am actually saying. I don't care if they are like mushrooms or not, the health side effects of nitrous are way worse than mushrooms, and the high only lasts a maximum of one minute, as apposed to 6-12 hours.

I'm just trying to warn you that it is a lot more dangerous and ineffective, and because of safety precautions the government takes now to prevent illicit use, nitrous oxide available to the public is very dangerous.

trust me im not inhaling car nitrous

You can't really group nitrous together will all of the other commonly used inhalants. Nitrous is quite safe, as long as you don't go through ridiculous quantities of it, and you don't suffocate yourself with it. This information can easily be found with a little online research.

Cretin says nitrous is a solvent. Cretin goes on a C&P odyssey. Cretin gets shut down and owned.

Sweet! :)

Mmmmm... sweet air. There is nothing like doing a big balloon while on some shrooms, or some MDMA, or some coke, or some weed.... wait, is there EVER a bad time to do a big balloon? I sure couldn't imagine such a situation.

*Sigh*

I don't need drugs to laugh my ass off at your posts, fortunately.

Anyway, people don't always care about the duration of drug they take. I might have to mention, that when you're on nitrous time is very disoriented. The fact that is only lasts thirty seconds to a minute really doesn't say anything, seeing as time doesn't exist, and it can feel as long as you want it to.

But yeah, I don't need to look up shit to tell you that you are in fact, wrong.

Oh, and it's your friends fucking fault that he got addicted to such a drug. I don't feel any need to inhale the other 4 cans that I have, I'd rather have some whipped cream, honestly. So thanks but no thanks, that original post wasn't about "Looking out for me."
