Nitrostat and it's pro's and cons

I've recently come across Nitrostat in the form of oral dissolving tabs. After looking into the uses and general physical reactions to Nitrates, I'm pretty certain that it can be used for way more then what is implied through the information available. In example, raising and lowering blood pressure, relaxing or stimulating the heart, preventative action for anxiety/panic attacks. Also, any relative AND irrelevant information that can be contributed, would be greatly appreciated.

What other uses to you have in mind? When its' main use it to dilate blood vessels and change your blood pressure this needs to be taken into consideration when using for non intended purposes.

Just making sure you know that Nitrostat is nitroglycerin and Not Amyl Nitrate. The latter being known as "Poppers" that can cause novel rec. effects. The first being best for heart conditions or causing fainting spells and headaches. Just so were clear..
