Nicotine spray onto herbs?

If you were to have a well made ratio of nicotine/water and sprayed it onto something supposedly 'healthier?' to smoke like weed or whatever cured herb you wish to use, would it have the same effect as smoking a fag? Or would the nicotine burn up too quickly with no carrier for it to be viable?

Just your thoughts on the matter as it could be safer than smoking tobacco and if the right herbs were used really tasty!
I'm well aware that most herbs aren't smoked repeatedly everyday for years on end and therefore damiana or lavender etc. may in fact in the long run be seriously damaging.
Many thanks

Potentially, however I strongly advise against playing around with nicotine in a purified form, it's extremely toxic (especially considering that the vast majority of it in cigarettes is destroyed and little actually enters the body), and absorbs easily through the skin.

Perhaps consider trying an e-cig? =D

Nicotine water? Are you sure it's not nicotine in glycerine or PEG? Anyway, as nAON said, I think this is a very unwise idea because nicotine is extremely toxic, it's very easy to overdose on if you don't have some precise way of measuring it and controlled way of delivering it. You wouldn't want to get any on your skin. Even if you were able to measure a very small amount, it probably wouldn't be evenly distributed on the herbs and who knows how much of it would get absorbed when you smoked it.

As for the herbs you were talking about: I don't think lavender cigarettes can be that bad for you since they sell them in some health food stores as an alternative to tobacco and I know health freaks who smoke lavender. WebMD says smoking Damiana is likely safe. But that doesn't mean that it would necessarily be safe when mixed with nicotine. Maybe you could try making an all natural herbal cigarette without the nicotine, or if you want nicotine without the hearms of smoking tobacco, as nAON said, just try an e-cigarette, the liquid comes in thousands of flavours.

Yea I'm not gonna link or anything, but there are these "ecstasy" brand cigarettes and they have a butterfly on the front, no tobacco or anything psychoactive just some herbal blend. Maybe try those? Don't fuck with pure nicotine, overdosing is terrible.
