I'm currently on day 4 of giving up smoking and i have a question?

How much nicotine is in passive smoke as i currently live with 2 smokers and im quite concerned that i've just been inhaling nicotine from their cigarettes this whole time 8( Will this effect me quitting?

It will potentially make you crave, yes. I quit smoking using a vaporizer and my advice is do the same.. custom flavors and gadgets. .. also cheaper and healthier.

Is it cheaper to smoke cigarettes or a electronic cigarette. It is costing me $10 a day in NY and I COULD smoke more if I had the money.

I get quite the buzz sometimes from second hand smoke. I'm very sensitive to tobacco/nicotine tho. Can't smoke blunts at all.

Good luck quitting! At least its not something way worse. Cigs are bad enough tho!

Hehe. I can still get Marlboro's for 45$ a carton. Actually, the Marlboro 83's have been 1$ off(and the 83's are just the soft-pack version if Reds in a box) so 3.49$ a pack.

I couldn't imagine living in NYC, my favorite cig(Camel Nonfilters) run $15 a pack at some places!

But no, you're not getting any noticeable nicotine from second hand smoke. People overestimate it.

This is true though. You will almost certainly crave if you're constantly around smoke, but the mechanism is psychological, not physical.

I don't think there's a significant amount of nicotine in second hand smoke, just that the smell triggers memories of when you were still smoking. Unless you're locked in intimate contact with someone billowng smoke into your face, you should come out stinky but not stoned.
