Haha my friend and i use codewords alot. The guy he buys from wants to keep it on the DL so he calls him "The Dude Man" when talking to me about him. The guy that sells to "The Dude Man" is called "Dude Man the 2nd." Even my friend has never met him.
I'm going to meet The Dude Man Eventually though. So here's how it goes: Friend buys from Dude Man 1. Dude Man 1 has alot of stuff and just buys from Dude Man 2. Dude man 2 gets his shit from ALL over the state.

Another thing. we've been referring to actual bud as "my hat" so that no one around us will know what's going on. when he gave it to me originally he called me and goes "hey man when doy you want your hat back?" he also used the term backpack earlier that day.
Some of his friends and he also use the term "Bringing home the bacon"
On the subject of the "hat" codeword. It's really funny because my boy has a really cool hat (like an actual one that he wears on his head). It's purple and black striped and i was curious about it. conversation went as follows:
Me: Hey man where'd you get your hat?
My Boy: Can't tell ya that man. sorry.
Me: Why not bro?
MB: The Dude Man likes to keep it on the DL.
Me: Oh... wait what? NO I meant your ACTUAL hat!!! haha
MB: Oh nice! my friend knitted this for me. haha! i thought you meant hat like "the hat"
