Viagra linked to epileptic fits
October 21 2002
By Judy Skatssoon

The erection drug Viagra has been linked to epileptic fits.
A range of side effects, from headaches to heart problems, have previously been attributed to Viagra.
Now, reporting in the British Medical Journal, specialists from the Department of Neurology at Israel's Wolfson Medical Centre describe the first two reported cases of patients who had epileptic seizures after using the drug. Neither had a history of epilepsy.
The first man, 63, had a seizure three hours after taking Viagra. Three months after being discharged from hospital, he took the drug again and had another fit four hours later.

Hmm, my father had 2 epliptic fits 'no reason' a few years back, maybe he was a test study for viagra.
Bad joke, but it did happen (the 2 epliptic fits for no known reason, hasn't happened since. Would have been about 14 years ago)

Pleo! Marry me!
I guess you could have a pretty decent spa bath if you propped an epileptic *stops* ;)
Anyway...
This is quite worrying, though not altogether unexpected simply because the big pharmecutical corporations are pushing drugs through faster and faster, and quashing the negative side effects more and more effectively. Besides which, the public WANTS to believe in miracle drugs. In my learned opinion, you don't get something for nothing.
Take drugs KNOWING there will be a side effect (s), but you might not know what they are yet.
