I heard a really quick report on the Nova radio news this afternoon. The news announcer said:
"results released today state that one third of road fatality victims had drugs in their system." I've looked on all the net news sites for more info, but can't find anything. It seems an inordinately high percentage to me, but I'm sure I heard right. Unless "drugs" includes alcohol or common over the counter / prescription drugs. Has anyone else heard about this?

Ya - I heard this on ABC radio this afternoon. Pretty chilling if the 'drugs' does not include alcohol. The most common drug detected in accidents are cannibus followed by opiates (ie heroin)
If the pecentage quoted does include alcohol - well... shit its just another beat up.

i went out to a rave once.. took a pill.. thought i recovered after 2 days. I drove myself to the shopping centre, obviously i was still mind fucked and drove at about 40km/hr cos i was so not there mentaly. The drive literally exhausted me and it was only a ten minute drive... alas i am never gunna do that again.

Yeah fully, drivn while scattered is the worst. Whenever I find myself drivn home after a big night I almost get to to the point where I wish I never went out.
Got so lost drivin round the city after sublime on the wkend it wasnt funny. Stick to public transport hey!
