Gonna try and make this short as possible.. So I had my gallbladder removed last year which was my first experience with pain pills (oxy) and I do not like it very much because it made me dizzy, well same time this year I went to the dentist with wisdom teeth pain and before I even got them taken out he gave me 100mg demoral a week before surgery and they felt AWESOME I'm a huge alcohol drinker, I party a lot and they seem to give me the euphoric buzz without the sloppiness per say.. Yet I read they can lead to seizures so that kinda lead my away from them. I got my teeth taken out today and got hydro 7.5/200 (ibpruphen) and I really like those as well even tho about 45 mins in it made me nauseous but that was just because I got up and didn't eat anything all day. So my question is do you think alcohol (buzz) is more fun than opiates? I could never see my self going to a party high on pills... They feel amazing but I just can't see it being a fun social thing to do. Also are there any chances of my getting addicted to them if I take the rest even though I'm not in pain anymore?

Do I think opiates are more "fun" than alcohol?

Not really, I think alcohol is more fun socially; but opiates more enjoyable on your own. Alcohol on your own is nice for relaxation. Opiates on your own can be euphoric.

Yes, you can get addicted to anything. Addiction isnt the end of the world though if done responsibly. Were all addicts to something whether it be chocolate, exercise, tv etc.. its how we control those addictions that matters..
