Hi all! I've been referencing bluelight for all of my random questions and wtf-did-I-take panic attacks for months now, so I figured it's about time I create an account to share some knowledge, as well to gain some!

I'm not a super experienced user, but definitely not a new one.

LoL ~ sorry, I don't mean to giggle, but your username has an entirely different meaning to my son & I. Hehe.. We enjoy kayaking together (for fishing, diving & just to get out onto that big blue happy place that we call the pacific ocean ;) ). I can't tell ya how many times one of us (usually ME) would suddenly would yell out "ROLL THE BOAT" & flip it upside down & watch my son (&/or me) get all mad & upset because he/I just got his (_!_) dunked in the water ?!!!
Heheheee... Well, all that being said - I'm grateful & very happy to be able to welcome you to our most awesome forums site & family. I just cant even begin to say how beneficial this has been for me, in only the short time I've decided to become a member. I truly look forward to seeing ya in our forums & hope this place can be as much of a blessing & benefit for you, as it has been for myself (as well as for soo many others).
& pls don't forget.. Don't ever, EVER feel like any question is just dumb or too stupid to ask. EVERY QUESTION is relevant to a forums site like this one. Even the simplest & most frequently asked questions help others that just may be well into a situation much like your own (& mine as well~LoL).

Thanks trainspotter. I've done a little looking around, and I'm definitely loving the community already, but I'll shoot any questions your way as they come along.

Haha that does hold a different meaning N3f! But that's so funny. I love the Pacific as well! I grew up on the Pacific bay as a kid, there's really nothing else like it!
Thanks for the tip on stupid questions. I'm tying to gain the knack of searching for posts so I don't duplicate questions already asked, or threads already started. There's just so much info floating around here!!

Your name reminds me of those legal drug packets they sell at headshops around here. Captain Kratom and whatnot haha.
Arizona is... hot! I spent a few years up in the northern states for college and moved here on a whim, but the weather is a huge change!

I can only imagine! Though I am in Los Angeles and it is fairly hot during the summers here.

I've been to LA a few times in the summer, and it does get pretty toasty!! I'm in the Phoenix area, and everybody keeps telling me, "Just wait til it hits 110°" so I've just decided to live in denial until it happens >.<

Right? I thought everybody was crazy until a couple of days ago when it hit 103, and it's still spring!
